"I just left the restaurant and couldn't wait to share my thoughts! What an incredible dining experience! This is by far the best restaurant in Stamford — scratch that, the best I’ve ever visited, even compared to places in NYC. The food and drinks are fantastic, and the service is top-notch. "My steak was over cooked and there were mice running around. We told the waitress (who was the only good thing) She informed the manager. The manager never came over, he told the waitress to tell us there was construction going on. Not even a drink Comp. It was handled very poorly. I will never go back."

"I recently had my first visit to this restaurant. When I arrived, a woman directed me to order from the menu displayed on the wall. I chose a chicken cutlet wedge, which was listed for $9.95. However, when I received my bill, I was surprised to see a charge of $12.95. I brought this issue to the owner's attention, and instead of addressing my concern directly, she began discussing politics, the economy, and how Covid has impacted their pricing. I expressed my disappointment, noting that it was misleading to advertise certain prices and then charge more. The owner explained that updating the menu was too costly. Unfortunately, this left me with a negative impression of the place. Paying $13 for a chicken cutlet sandwich feels like one of the highest prices in town."

"My husband I were looking to try something new for dinner on Monday and there have been many posts on FB about Pearl East. It was late when we called…30 minutes before closing, but that wasn’t a problem. We ordered sesame chicken, hot pepper chicken, and fried rice. It was delicious! So delicious that my husband ate all the leftovers fried rice on Tuesday when I was working had to confess. We will definitely order again!!!"

"This is a great spot...! Their bagels remind me of New York City bagels, and their Flegal’s just the same. Breakfast is pretty standard here, but the bagels really make it. Their lunch stuff is good as well. I recently went to an office party that was catered by them, and everybody was thrilled. There was nothing left. Also their coffee is very good and they have a nice selection of baked goods. Try the coffee cake."
