"I'm not sure what has happened to Longo's lately. I've been dining in and ordering for pickup, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. I ordered a meatball calzone and a small sausage pizza. The best part of the pizza was that one slice had one and a half pieces of sausage, about the size of a marble. The calzone contained just five tiny meatballs. We usually enjoy dining at Longo’s Lakeshore on Fridays, and up until now, we've had good experiences. While the food is generally good, it is also quite pricey. I'm curious about the other location; both stores seem to be ridiculously expensive. It would be nice if they could at least put more toppings on the pizza or calzone—maybe a few more pieces of sausage or meatballs—or lower their prices. It's frustrating to receive less food for more money, just like many others do these days."

I once watched a person full on sneeze all over a pizza, then continue to carry it out and serve it...

They make everything themselves, nothing is frozen.... Impressive! Just redid their dining room as well- very nice place!

I grew up in Mentor and I’m sad to say this is the first time I’ve been here. It did not disappoint. The pizza was very good! View menu

I've been going to Longo's for years, and their pizza is the best I've ever had—except for my father's, of course! I probably order from there at least three times a month.

This food is always so good you can’t go wrong. Patio is open with lots of tv’s for sports watching. Sometimes live music would recommend to everyone Parking: Parking in back and front

We had an informal high school reunion on the patio. Exceptional service, great atmosphere, and great food. Longo's accommodated us beautifully, even though we did not let them know we were coming! Thanks, Longo's. View menu

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I traveled from out of town and decided to give it a try, but I ended up waiting over an hour for my carryout order. When it finally arrived, it was incorrect, and I was told I would have to wait another half hour for them to fix it. The spaghetti looked unappetizing, and the pizza was burnt and cold. It was evident that there was a lack of pride in the food being served. They didn't offer to compensate for the missing items or refund my money. I ended up leaving the food at the counter and requested a refund, but they refused. I really hope this isn't the only Italian option in Mentor.

"This place should have a line out the door to eat here. Honestly, some of the best food (Thai or otherwise) I have had (speaking as a 300 pound man). It would not surprise me if, one day, it is considered easier to escape from Alcatraz back in the day than to get an open table here. I started with the spring rolls which were fresh and piping hot. The insides were perfectly peppered and the chili sauce served to complement well. For my main dish, I had the crispy chicken fried rice... where to start with this one??? The chicken itself was juicy, cut-with-a-spoon-tender, salted perfectly, and with a nice, crisp breading that is fried to perfection. If Colonel Sanders were alive today, you would be getting KFC served a la Thai 999 Express. Now, for the rice itself. I ordered a level 4, and was warned it might be a bit much. I did get a little bead or two of sweat, but it wasn't overpowering. Mind you, I enjoy spicy foods and have built a tolerance. Your mileage may vary. As far as the taste quality of the rice, this is where Thai 999 Express earned its wings with me. I love fried rice, and I (perhaps unfairly) judge an Asian restaurant's quality by their fried rice. Let's be honest, if a restaurant can't make good fried rice, it doesn't bode well for the rest of the menu? Thai 999 Express has, hands down, the absolute best fried rice I have ever had. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and eat here. You're welcome."
