"There are many reviews discussing the ambiance of this restaurant, which has a dive bar feel filled with military and other memorabilia, as well as comments on the service and the food. Given all the positive feedback, I had high hopes for my visit. I thought the cheesesteak was good, but it didn’t quite reach greatness. Unfortunately, the chili cheese fries were a letdown. The fries were undercooked, and the cheese and chili only added to their sogginess. In the end, my rating was low because the fries didn’t live up to the expectations for a place that has “fries” in its name."

The fries with cheese and bacon were FIRE. The place is at a convenient spot right off the road. The owner of the place is very kind and helpful, and the food came out relatively quick.

My wife and I are usually picky but the breakfast was pretty good. Everything hit but the scrambled eggs could’ve used a little salt and pepper or more if a tiny bit was added. We will be back!

Very dirty kitchen. We were there on Saturday and left without ordering food. The dinner area was gross. We walked down the hallway to order food and looked at the kitchen and turned around. I have no idea how this place has not been shut down

We visited Gettysburg and since we are from the west coast. We figured we were close enough to Philly to try a chopped beef cheese steak. And oh my goodness. Best sandwich I've ever eaten. The staff was very nice. I called near closing, not realizing they closed early, and they still helped me out. If I ever make it back to Gettysburg you can be damn sure I'll be back.
