"I will not be back. I had gone to the original location and it was EXCELLENT. The food, service, ambiance all excellent. Maybe a bit overpriced. If this was in Boston, I wouldn 't have an issue but we 're in Danvers. I had a very different experience in the new location most recently. To begin, the ambiance left something to be desired. The original location was small, dark, and intimate. I understand the new location was larger fine, but it was large, atrociously well lit room offering a completely different experience. It is like eating dinner in the lobby of a Hilton hotel, right down to the generic junk art on the walls. I am not, however, basing my rating on the ambiance it was different but fine. The service was a disaster. The host was very kind but had no idea what was going on. We 're being shown a tablet with the seating arrangements, and he 's explaining why we can and cannot sit in certain places. OK? We get seated cool. We 're sitting at the table for 5 10 minutes just looking around, admiring the hotel quality artwork, taking in our surroundings, before someone comes over and offers us water. An additional 5 10 minutes pass before someone comes over to ask if we 'd like a drink or anything to start. As politely as possible, Yes... A menu would be lovely . ~15 minutes to get a menu? We order a cocktail and a glass of wine. The cocktail comes out in 10 minutes, fine, no problem, but no wine. An additional 5 10 minutes later, the wine comes out. I know this because at this point I am annoying and looking at my watch, questioning if they 're pressing the grapes in the back. If you 're keeping track, that 's about 35 minutes after being seated to get a glass of wine. Mind you it 's a Thursday night and they don 't appear to be that busy. The menu is also a bummer. I see they do note on the website that it is only a sample menu, but the selection is FAR smaller in the new location than the previous location. 2 3 items I would previously order at the original location were no where to be seen. OK, I guess... larger location, more customers, you have to streamline things. Bummer but ok. Our steaks arrive and the servers, two of them, have no idea which cut of meat is which (bone in filet vs. bone in sirloin). The wrong steaks are put in front of the wrong diner... Not a problem, I just question the server to confirm which is which. After swapping them back and forth and assuring me they are correct (They 're not), they walk away. I sort it myself. The filet was dry aged as advertised but I am reasonably suspicious that the sirloin was not dry aged despite the menu (and price). At this point I am too annoyed to notice, or care, that the steak sauce was omitted. This leads me to my final gripe: The prices. The prices were questionable in the original location but it was an excellent experience. In the new location, I swear the prices are higher (but cannot confirm as they do not list on the website) but for a significantly lesser experience. Over $100 for a steak in this context? Not worth it. Save your money for somewhere that earns it/makes it worth while. Or just go to Davio 's in Lynnfield. Same price, better selection, and you get what you pay for. I sincerely hope these are growing pains for the new location but based on other reviews saying it has gone downhill, I agree and at least for now have no plans to go back and have been advising other friends/family that enjoyed the previous location to do the same."

The food is fabulous. Real true Italian food. Cozy atmosphere with a huge free parking lot. A dozen house made gelatos to choose from. House made pastas and sauces.

I don’t get the reviews claiming this place has declined since the move. I went tonight and found it even better than before! The food was amazing, and I sat at the bar where the drinks were fantastic. I can't wait to go back!

Small quantities. Way overpriced. No thanks. If I was interested in beautiful presentations I'd go to the museum but I wanted a nice hearty meal. Do yourself a favor and go to The Marina in Revere. Great ambience, view, quantity, quality and reasonably priced. Trust me. View menu

The food was fine, service attentive but prices are just out of place. I don't mind paying for value but charging me 10$ for water is a whole different level. Not sparkling, just water. And the kitchen appreciation fee? I thought paying 70$ for a veal chop showed plenty of appreciation. Sorry but won't be back, you need to balance the cost with the experience and you just aren't there.

Decor very nice. Exorbitant, almost ridiculous. Food and service very disappointing. I felt foolish paying the bill. One cannot charge above Boston prices for a restaurant in Danvers unless exceptional and our experience was not that. Salmon overcooked, could eat roasted potatoes due to over salting, waited 1/2 hour for our bottle of wine, waited 10 minutes for pepper. Great Caesar salad though. Maybe, because of a new location but wrinkles should be out by now. They have to lower the prices to survive the long haul..

The service at the restaurant was outstanding. We started with the octopus appetizer, which was bursting with flavor. For the main course, I ordered the aged bone-in filet, cooked and seasoned to perfection. My date chose the beef cannelloni, which was both unique and delicious. For dessert, we sampled the gelato, and it was among the best I’ve ever tasted, especially with the addition of a pizzelle, which was a lovely touch. It’s rare to find a restaurant that executes everything so well, but I Pazzi truly hit it out of the park. It’s the perfect spot for a date night. View menu

We began our meal with appetizers: octopus, fig salad, and tuna carpaccio. Each dish was incredibly fresh and delicious. For our main course, we shared a variety of plates, including eggplant gnocchi, Bolognese, lemon pasta with scallops, and mafaldini with Wagyu short ribs and Chilean Sea Bass. Everything was prepared to perfection and beautifully presented; the Chilean Sea Bass was particularly outstanding! For dessert, we indulged in hazelnut and chocolate gelato as well as crème brûlée, accompanied by coffee and espresso. The gelato was authentically Italian, rivaling anything you’d find in Italy. Overall, our experience and the quality of the food were top-notch!

Disappointed is an understatement. We used to love I Pazzi which is exactly why we decided to dine with them for our wedding anniversary. First, we go to their prior location which was closed. We thought they had shut down, but figured out they were still open after some internet sleuthing. Their social hadn't been updated since 2022 and there was no mention of the address change anywhere aside from their primary website. When we arrive, the host informs us that their open reservation time at the bar will not be honored because the kitchen is behind and they were reserving the rest of the bar for friends of the restaurant. Fine, so they sit us at a table. At the table, we wait an extensive a...

"Very enjoyable dinner at this fine dining restaurant. Service was good, not perfect due to the amount of tables our server had. At one point, we could tell he was in the weeds because he sent another server over to take our entree order. When telling us the specials, he never mentioned the Tomahawk Steak as an option, but we heard another server mention it to the people at his table. He also didn't ask if we wanted any kind of a sauce with our steaks and it wasn't until I was halfway through my filet when I realized that I failed to order the Bearnaise sauce which I usually like with my filet. Bummer...my bad, but I do wish he had tried to upsell us on a sauce with our steak. Overall, he did a good job but it's fine dining and very expensive so my expectations are high in a restaurant like Pellana. We started with salads, which were very generous and good although my Caesar had way too much white lettuce in it. My husband had the porterhouse and I had the filet. Both very good and cooked to order. We had a side of grilled asparagus and a side of onion strings and both were tasty. The bread basket is a must there. Popovers, an Italian style bread and thin slices of what tasted like cinnamon toast. Drinks were done perfectly. For dessert we shared the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. The only downside of the evening was seeing people being let in wearing hoodies, jeans and sneakers. They do state proper attire, but Pellana really doesn't enforce it which given the atmosphere and the cost to dine there they should. If people want to dine out wearing jeans, sneakers and hoodies they should eat elsewhere where that kind of attire fits into the atmosphere. But other than that, we enjoyed our meal at Pellana."

"It's a cute place that makes best of the size it has on the street of a busy intersection. Cute menu with a decent selection of generic American Asian cuisine that would satisfy a wide range of people. The dishes we got were delicious though the portion varied in value. The general chicken was on the menu as a big plate dish. Seeing the dish,it's a big plate but the portion was not at all much, that gave me a chuckle on their wording, it's well played. The chicken was moist,it was fried just right and the flavor was on point however so I'll enjoy it for what it was.The mapo tofu was cooked splendidly although a bit bland, could have used more ma la spice to really kick it up. I hyped it up to my friend who was expecting something much hotter, will need to remember next time. The rice however was in no way worth the price they charged. Especially considering the rest of the dish prices it was a bit costly for what they gave. We needed a second but held off as it wasn't worth it.Service was acceptable, but far from great. The server didn't interact with us except at the beginning, getting our order and then collecting payment. Not once did they stop by to ask how things were or much else besides refilling our water glasses. All in all. It was okay, and okay was palatable, but it's not something I'll go out of my way to visit again, there are others that do the same and more for less."
