"We had made reservations for Valentine's Day, but when we arrived at the restaurant, there was a sign on the door stating that they were closed due to a family emergency. It would have been considerate to receive some advance notice. While we understood the circumstances, it seemed possible that someone could have notified us and canceled our reservation. Unfortunately, all other restaurants were fully booked for the holiday, leaving us without a backup plan. It was disappointing to be left in such a difficult situation. Despite our certainty that our reservation would be honored, we were still forced to wait."

Although food was acceptable service was horrendous making the experience totally unacceptable. Service was slowest of any experience i have had in a restaurant. In addition to of the four dinner orders were completely wrong

Very nice Italian “go to” restaurant. Food is almost great. I enjoyed my lamb shank. I feel they could take it up a slight notch and food would be great. All in all, I’ll come back. It’s not Savini’s good, but it could get there.

What a fantastic spot! I live in Manhattan and was meeting a friend who lives 45 minutes north of Suffern, This was the halfway spot for us. The food was fantastic the owner served us and was a happy and enthusiastic person. The menu choices were just fantastic. This was a great dining experience on every level. View menu

This is a lovely place to go and eat. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Food was awesome, atmosphere was very nice. Wasn't loud, you could have a nice conversation, the decor was understated but nice. This is a perfect date night restaurant. It's within walking distance of the Lafayette theater. I hope more people take a chance on a small business.
