"So I arrived at the Jack In the Box restaurant's drive-thru at 1257 Park St.on Saturday morning (11/4/2023 . I placed my order and proceeded to the pick up window. As I was preparing to pay with Apple Pay, the cashier (Latin manager slides the payment device over the drive-thru counter with cord dangling and turns his attention to preparing my order. I appreciate his attenton with my order but I am a 5'8 Asian male with short arms. I told him I can't reach that far but he resisted to not meet me halfway and hold the payment device out of the window to allow me to swipe my card. Now this has not been the only occasion but I've noticed him doing it over and over again at this location in the past. I mean I am the customer and I expect adequate customer service but for him to just drop the payment device with the extended cord attached expecting me to get out of my car to pay for my food is absurd. He didn't even acknowledge that I was struggling or reaching out as far as I could but still no reaction from him. Unfortunately I had to tell him that I could not reach the payment device. Also I feel my car was close enough to the window (within 2 ft. . In closing, I would rate my experience was awful in relation to the customer service from this employee. I didn't give in to his expectations for me to get out of my car to pay for my food so I left the premises ."

Sadly, this business seems unable to fill the most basic orders at 8:45 PM on a Saturday night. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The staff could be more friendly, and the food is average. Unfortunately, there are frequent instances of burnt or overcooked onion rings and mozzarella cheese sticks.

Last resort, they've been slacking lately. Like, closing early. Knowing they are supposed to be open 24hr. The food is recooked, after that someone doesn't want it. Same ole, same old!! View menu

the shakes are coming with a very thick consistency, I think they are not beating right, I can't drink it with a straw, I have to eat it with a spoon like ice cream. should improve this.????????

This was my go-to Jack when I lived in Alameda. It was good back then and is still????, when I'm in town. Menu doesn't disappoint: many good choices! For fast food, I'm a Jack faithful ?????????????????

This and Carl's Jr. are probably my favorite. The Sourdough ham melt is great, and unlike most everywhere else, you can order it 24/7! Flavored Coke machine is amazing, and tge Chocolate overload cake is rge stuff of legend! View menu

Open 24hrs, they are nice. Many a nights I would come here for my grillcheese munchie meals and soda fix. Sometimes you do have to deal with slower drivers ahead of you with their orders because they have just come out of the club or bar before covid, or a late night shift. I recently tried their mini tacos and they are great. Ask them to add nacho cheese if you can without being charged the extra $2.50 for the loaded tacos, the taco sauce and lettuce does not make it taste better, omit the two additions if needed. It's like eating nachos with some taco meat and who doesn't like nachos?

This review is for Jack in the Box 's Milk Tea which is offered for a limited time. We pulled up to the drive through around 8PM. On the big menu, we didn 't see the Milk Tea so when we asked if it was available in this location, the worker snapped, "Yeah, and what about IT? "The two milk tea flavors available are coffee milk tea regular milk tea. The beverages come in regular soda cups and instead of a big boba straw, we were given a soda straw and a spoon. Despite ordering the regular milk tea with boba, it tasted like there was coffee in there. It was similar/exactly like the Starbucks Vanilla Frappuccino in the glass bottles. Surprisingly the boba itself was really chewy! I 'm glad I got...

"Tasty authentic Vietnamese dishes made in a mom and pop restaurant in Oakland on the corner of East 12th Street and 11th Avenue. We got the Hu Tieu Mi Kho (Dried egg noodles), Pho Dac Biet (Beef Pho with various cuts of beef), and the Bo Kho (beef stew) that comes with a Vietnamese baguette to dip in the stew. These 3 dishes totaled about $45 after taxes. Two of the dishes (dried noodles and the pho) were full of flavor and you can smell and taste some of the traditional spices and herbs that come with them. The Dried egg noodles come with 2 quail eggs, 2 shrimp, a couple slices of pork, slices of pork kidney and liver, minced pork, bits of chicharron (fried pork belly skin), chives, cilantro, green onions, and blanched mung bean sprouts with a bowl of broth on the side. It comes with Vietnamese pickled jalapenos, sate paste, and a soy based sauce to mix in with the noodles. Was very authentic and delicious! There was even minced garlic in the dry noodles, which added another nice layer of flavor to this dish. The second dish, beef stew, although it smelled right, was more of a soup than braised stew. It was watered down (and tasted watered down too) and would have gone better with noodles. Way too watery for the baguette to really dip or scoop up the flavor. Made the bread a soggy mush. Plus there was not that many pieces of beef (they used flank with the membrane intact), and only 2 slices of carrot. We had to scoop to the bottom of the container to raise the beef, above the broth for the photo. Otherwise we almost mistook it for the container of broth for the pho. I would pass on getting the beef stew next time since the value of what you pay and flavor were somewhat lacking. Lastly we tried the pho dac biet and it was tasty with a nice balanced broth before you add the herbs and condiments (hoisin, sriracha, etc). It comes with the usual mung bean sprouts, thai basil, and sliced jalapenos with the raw slices of beef on top (for you to cook by pouring over the boiling broth). Prices are reasonable for the dry noodles and pho, but not the beef stew. While waiting for our takeout order, the husband owner kindly offered us some water or hot jasmine tea to sip while we waited. Inside of the restaurant, there are 7 tables with seating for 4 each, and a longer table with seating for 8 available for dining here. The parking lot across the street that people used to use seems to be closed/chained as a private lot now, so be prepared to find and park on the main streets or neighborhood around the restaurant. It is in a lesser part of Oakland about 5 minutes away from downtown, so be sure to lock your car or use public transit, as there was a lot of trash dumped around the neighborhood. Despite all of this, I would return for their tasty dry noodles and pho. And would be interested to try their other dishes too (minus the beef stew)."
