"Pretty good. I went here based on all the positive reviews. I’m from the Metro Detroit area originally and we have almost as many Middle Eastern restaurants as some places have McDonalds so I’m extra picky. They claim there’s sauce on their shawarmas but there didn’t seem to have any. The dolma was ok but lacked the flavor I was expecting. The crushed lentil however, was excellent!"

This is definitely on my list of favorite spots in the Birmingham region. A fantastic Mediterranean restaurant that also has a small market inside. They also make their own pits in the house. I highly recommend trying.

I had a great lunch! The chicken-shawarma wrap was so unexpected. The roasted Pita and pickled Turnip in the pack made something good in something I will return to dinner again. Thanks for being such a great restaurant in Birmingham!

Pita Pizza was something new for me. I got a Greek and it was delicious. Great new take on a gyro sorta. Had hummus as an appetizer which was very good as well. They also have them to have a grocery store inside where you can buy a lot of the items take them home and cook them yourself. I'll be back for some dolmas! View menu

I wanted a different place to eat. I tried najis pitas and was blown away. My mouth woke up and told me to eat more. That was in 2013. Now it's 2022 and I live in tampa, over 400 miles away. I drove 9 hours, to get my hands on their food. It was amazing. I remembered every bite...and I only hope that savory taste lasts.

Really enjoyed my zaatar pie (more of a sandwich) with acid cream, tomatoes, onion, green peppers and olives on the side. The production was crisp, the Pita was fresh, and the Zaatar tied them all together with a satisfactory earthiness. The Lebanese coffee was nice, too a little different taste than brewed coffee, but I added a whole bunch of sugar.
