"Had Jarosch make a custom cannoli cake for my son's 32nd birthday WOW!! IT WAS AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! I ordered marble cake (which was moist delicious with their cannoli filling whipped cream frosting, asked them to decorate it with some of their mini cannolis. They did not disappoint, it came out EXACTLY like the picture I sent of what I wanted. You can't see in the picture because our sever (we were at a restaurant didnt realize the outside of the cake was wrapped, but the sides were all coated with mini chocolate chips. Literally one of the best cakes I've ever had!! My son raved about it and everyone else with our party agreed. Thank you Jarosch for a beautiful and exceedingly delicious cake!!"

This bakery is absolutely charming! I stopped by for the first time and tried the pineapple Danish—it was incredible. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was delightful. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their offerings! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ordered a birthday holloween cake.Cake was decorated beautiful, but cake was dry as hell! I spoke to other people afterwards, and they said they ordered from them before and they said theirs was also dry. I would never order a cake from them again. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is one of the best bakeries in Chicago. I have tried many, but this one is definitely in my top 3. I've tried different kinds of pastries, and all of them are just made and are amazing! My favorite one is the almond pecan. The almond filling is just out of this world. And the brownie is to die for. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View menu

I’ve come to this bakery for 3 years now for my birthday cakes and I am more than satisfied and happy every time . They put so much effort into their cakes. I love this place and I recommend it to everyone I know . Thank you so much for making our birthday celebration so special. I’ve attached a photo of our cake we order this year from jarosch bakery. As I've said before,at best this bakery is not all that! Just the only game in town and has been for years.quite pricey and we ordered a cake 2 weeks prior for a birthday and it looked nothing like the picture we were shown, instead it looked like a cake for a 4 year old.as we stood at the counter and debated with the manager to fix it we were told it would be an hour wait due to the decorator fixing another cake that obviously wasn't done right.during our debate with the manager we were told the picture was an old picture that hadn't been updated, which is not an acceptable excuse when youre being charged 60 dollars and not receiving what was promised.we will never go back.

"Absolutely fabulous, I 'm SO looking forward to coming back. The restaurant is small, so luckily they weren 't super busy when we walked in. We got greeted and seated right away. I had green tea to drink, and started with miso soup, gyoza, and the coconut shrimp. The miso was very simple--not even sure if there was tofu in it or I just didn 't get any. But good flavor none the less. The gyoza wrapping is definitely made in house. The sauce that comes with it is great, and the order comes with 5. The coconut shrimp though--that 's where it 's at. I 'm not sure exactly what sauce they put on it but I loved it as did my boyfriend. Some of the shrimp have the tail already cut off which I appreciate. For sushi we couldn 't make up our minds as they have so many good sounding options. We limited ourselves to four rolls though. My pick was the butterfly madam as I 've been super into lobster and crab lately--this is the one on the very left of the photo. Lots of good flavor, just hard to eat a piece in one bite, so if you 're going on a first date, stay away lol Next is the Godzilla roll which is always a safe bet. It was creamy and good. The toro blue fin was my boyfriends choice, and the mango is extremely fresh, the truffle oil is a unique factor I 've never had on sushi before but definitely want again. I 'm not super big on tuna but I could handle this roll. The last one (very right) is my personal favorite--the crunchy melt. I could eat this every day. I 've had mozzarella cheese melted on sushi before and it 's one of my favorite things, but can 't find everywhere. This place does it the best. If you check in on Yelp, you also get free ice cream! We were too full to do that, but maybe next time when we come back we can try to save some room."
