"To make matters worse, our server didn’t give us even five minutes to settle in before repeatedly asking if we were ready to order. After he approached us for the third time in under ten minutes, we felt rushed and decided to place our order even though we hadn’t fully decided yet. Instead of being helpful, he just stood there staring at us while we tried to make up our minds. His impatience was frustrating, especially since I work in the service industry myself, and there was no need for that attitude, particularly with the restaurant not being busy.
I ordered the mahi tacos, which were bland, while my partner had the beef cheese dip, which was also tasteless and overly greasy. We spent $39 on our meals and two drinks, and when it came time to pay, we tried to split the bill: $20 in cash and the rest on a card. The waiter took the card and left without acknowledging the cash. My partner had to chase him down to hand him the $20 and explain how we wanted to split the payment. Instead of doing that, the waiter kept the cash as a tip and charged the entire meal to the card. We weren’t tipping him; his service was far from acceptable, and we didn’t even receive any water while we figured out our order.
Understandably frustrated, we had to ask him to process the payment correctly and refund us for the mishap. And just to clarify, there was no language barrier—my partner is fluent in Spanish, and the waiter spoke it perfectly. He was fully aware of what he was doing and had a dismissive attitude when we requested a corrected transaction. 
The overall experience was incredibly rude, with zero customer service. My partner is still waiting for a $60 refund. I would not recommend this restaurant for inauthentic Mexican food or their questionable billing practices."
