Johnny's New York Style Pizza

Pizza was alright not the best very thin and crispy though. I would visit again if I'm in the area and want a little snack but I wouldn't make a special trip. Customer service was pretty good very welcoming and friendly.

I come from the Italian-Greek neighborhood of Bay Ridge in old Brooklyn, NY, and the pizza at Johnny's captures the flavor and texture I've loved my entire life. My wife and I hadn't been to Johnny's Pizza since the start of the COVID pandemic. We decided to stop by for lunch and ordered eggplant parmigiana subs with fries. The food arrived hot and was absolutely delicious. Our total, including tax and tip, was under $26. Thank you for a wonderful experience; we will definitely return!

My wife and I hadn't visited Johnny's Pizza since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, but we decided to drop by for lunch. We both ordered eggplant parmigiana subs with fries, and the food arrived hot and was simply delicious. The total, including tax and tip, was under $26. The service was outstanding, and our waiter was exceptional. I ordered the Italian special pizza, but it turned out to be only average. It was lacking in flavor and seemed to need a little more salt; I think the cheese was a big part of the problem. On the bright side, the cinnamon knots were incredible! Overall, it was a mixed experience. While I would choose Frankie's or Labella's for pizza, I might consider trying the stromboli on my next visit.

I dined here for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. I particularly enjoyed the baked cheese ravioli dinner, which was delicious and came with a side salad. Additionally, the house beer and wine are discounted on Mondays. Overall, I spent less than $20 and also took home leftovers for another meal. The service was impressive, and they offer outdoor seating, which will be great once the weather gets better.

I visited the restaurant for Thursday Trivia with one of our church groups. Our waiter appeared to be overwhelmed and didn't show much enthusiasm; he never smiled or checked in to see if we needed anything. I understand we had a larger party, but I thought some level of attentiveness would be normal given the trivia night atmosphere. On a positive note, the pizza was enjoyable—I tried two different slices that were quite similar but from different types. It would have been nice if they had a wider variety of slices available because I really wanted to try the Margherita pizza. Instead, I had the Johnny's Deluxe and the Johnny's Italian Special.
