"Superb authentic Japanese cuisine served in a calm delightful atmosphere. This is a neighborhood gem of a restaurant worth seeking out for any dining occasion. Those in the know about Japanese food will find an exceptional variety of wonderful dishes to choose from, along with an excellent sake list. The team behind the restaurant are completely dedicated to their craft and very welcoming. The ingredients are quality, and the preparation and presentation are true to Japanese cuisine as one may experience this in Japan, an amazing country I have had the great pleasure to tour several times. Every visit here I try a new dish, and am continuously pleased with the variety of offerings. Try something new here, you’ll be delighted. Truly a favorite restaurant of mine. Be sure to make a reservation as they often book up and walking in is usually discouraged due to the intimate space and capacity. Highly recommended"

I had been eyeing this place for a while, but never had them opportunity because COVID-19 got real, but luckily they opened soon after NYC started allowing dine-in at the end of last month, just intime for the first year anniversary for the wife and I! this place is the real deal when it comes to fresh authentic Japanesecuisine! the sashimi was so fresh that it melted in the mouth... the owner was kind and accommodating, as well as extra cautiousduring these troubled times. I'm not sure you can find a better Japanese sushi place in Forest Hills or Queens for that matter!
