"The presentation of the dishes was nice, and the restaurant offers a large selection of sushi boats suitable for big groups. However, the sushi itself was overly soft and had a fishy taste. Some pieces even had a sandy texture, suggesting they weren't very fresh. Additionally, they forgot to include ginger with the sushi; ginger is important for cleansing the palate between different types of fish. The teriyaki chicken was dry and lacked sauce, and the rice in the bowl was only half full. Please don't skimp on the rice! This sushi restaurant in Japantown had a good reputation for its large, fresh sushi boats, but something seems to have gone wrong. I encountered several issues with the small portions of sushi offered. I can't imagine how quality control is managed when it comes to the large sushi boats. Please improve your standards!"

Great local sushi spot. Try the hamachi kama as an appetizer.

Very good sushi and Japanese food. A little pricey but not too bad for this type of restaurant. Great service! View menu

A very big menu of authentic Japanese food in the San Jose Japantown. Prices are reasonable and service is great. Will go back.

Opt for a booth if you like to indulge in some eye candy before your meal! I brought my 2-year-old son for his first sushi conveyor belt experience, and he absolutely loved watching the dishes pass by.

I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The conveyor belt sushi bar is entertaining and runs at a pleasant pace, making it easy to see the dishes as they glide by... View menu

This is probably the worst restaurant I?ve been to, let alone ?Japanese? restaurant. Ordered a deplorable squid, the sashimi was cut as thick as a ribeye, and the fried chicken was softer than a wet sponge. The rolls looked like they were made by a 12 year old forced to make sushi as punishment. I wouldn?t wish this dining experience on my worst enemies.

The service was excellent. The food was good. I had the beef teriyaki and it was good. Miso soup was hot and tasty. The salad dressing wasn't my preferred as it was creamy and drenched the salad. Needs to be on the side. The daughter had the happy sushi boat and definitely happy getting it. The son had the katsu and was pleased with his choice. Nicely breaded and juicy. Wife had the sashimi bento and liked it. The fish was fresh. Overall a pleasant meal for some out of towners that wished we lived closer or they were closer yo us. Would eat there again.
