"Cute interior and the service is very friendly, but there are some bumps and the food is hit or miss.There was plenty of seating when we arrived and we chose to take a table in the back I guess the front is the enclosed patio area, then there are some booths along a corridor toward the back section.Seating was tight and uncomfortable. There is a large condiment tray on every table full of sauces and seasonings which is cool at first until the food starts arriving and you realize there is no place to put it.Although the hostess explained the seating options and we told her we were heading to the back, we could not get a server to come over until I asked someone who it was. Once assigned, our server was very friendly and personable, but we had to wait quite a while. I don't have a problem waiting once we're greeted so we know who is taking care of us, but this was a concern. In the entire back room, there was only one other table seated besides ours. Their server went three times to their table without even batting an eye at us, so I finally had to yell out to get his attention. After that, our server came and apologized.We ordered the conch fritters and the corn cakes for appetizers. The conch fritters were mostly dough with little flavor, although the dipping sauce was okay. I guess that is why they have so many condiments available.The corn cakes are amazing, a very unique item that was very enjoyable. they come with cheese, avocado, and other goodies on top and are quite yummy.Entrees were sort of blah. My daughter's tuna wrap with a little teriyaki came drenched in it, ruining the delicate taste of the tuna. Shrimp and tuna tacos were okay, not great, not terrible. My mahi mahi was a bit dry, but the slaw and yucca fries I ordered as sides were fantastic.Overall, some good, some bad. Maybe we would try again."

"This place is absolute, hands down, the best tasting, the most authentic, ethnic restaurant I was in the last 10 years. Just an 8.6 out of 5. A real hidden jewel. Don't expect the same old Tex-Mex-Slop. This small, traditional cuisine is owned by a family from the Yucatan and it is SO good. The interior is authentic and very clean. The seating is well spaced within as well as in their beautiful screened veranda. Even the music was pleasantly fitting. Her salsa tasted as fresh as this morning. They brought our sides of rice and beans, and even they were completely delicious. Definitely 3 or 4 stars above even large Tex sex rate. The most important shrimp tacos and mol chickens were cooked for perfection and absolutely delicious. Portion sizes on everything (including desert) were excessively generous. Sign coming said to expect smaller delays by staff, but our service at 12:30 on Thursday was very, very fast, warm and friendly. Easy parking. We will definitely come back."

"we had a great dinner last night. it was my birthday, and I was looking forward to the duck just to find that it wasn't on the menu now. instead I had the seafood. cazuela and it did not disappoint. the seafood were perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing. my man had the lamming frame and it was also great. also the Plantain Appetizer was delicious. our only complaining was that the escaped warm, not hot, but instead of sending them back, we enjoyed them as they were. we will return if they are not out of the sea.."

"more popular place, fairly crowded around 17 o'clock, long wait when we left. hot inside, I don't think the ac worked, windows were open, it was unpleasant. the staff was annoying, but was pretty busy. good, not great. baked fish was cool from sitting, black garnel was very good, minor can garnelen was also very good. child's meal was okay, huh's almost all broken, not much huh. waffel was very good. had to wait for dinner, but not terrible. Snapper-grouper-mahi fish bites as an appetizer was decent, but it was all the same fish (not a sample of the 3) as advertised. still good. tartar sauce very tasty."

"I hadn't been here in a long time, so it was fun to eat there again. I had the Mac and cheese, and it was perfect. A creamy sauce, large shell macaroni, and grated cheese. The dish was filling without being heavy. The staff was terrific, professional but friendly. We ate inside where it was cooler, but the outside areas were shaded. Good food, good prices."
