"It's 2 a.m. and you're just getting off the 4 train at 183 St after a hard night's work. And you're hungry. And this is the only thing open. Play Chicken (no pun intended) with the self-appointed doorman at the door trying to charge you a door-opening fee, puff your chest up and get yourself that 3-for-1 (wing, leg, thigh) or the new 5-for-5 (you know what I can't even remember the combination right now but there's some legs and there's some thighs). The head African guy is pretty cool. I've been a Parton for several years now. If you're hungry high hungover or a combination of all of the latter and you're within a 0.3 radius at 2 a.m., this is the place for you. I will say...their food is fresh. They don't keep their chicken under heat lamps for hours and often you may have to wait while they fry up a new batch. So that's good."

This is the first time I 've eaten at a Kennedy Fried chicken anywhere. I 'll give this place four stars for cleanliness and and the counter staff. One and a half for the food. First off,it 's not very expensive. You know the old saying You get what you pay for . My friend ordered a chicken sandwich and I a fish sandwich. Both were patty like, and believe it or not; tasted the same! Go figure. They arrived with shredded lettuce and a green tomato on a toasted bun. See the photos. Saw someone else order the salad. Should have gone with the salad. Comes with four toppings and dressing. It looked a lot more appetizing than the sandwiches. Live and learn.
