Kerns Kitchen - Menu

As a traveler, i have all kinds of dining experiences. This has been one of the really good ones! Cool place, great food, average prices. Has the feel of a more expensive place. Lots of outdoor seating.

The breakfast was outstanding, featuring a perfectly sized menu at reasonable prices. The coffee was excellent, and the atmosphere was serene and peaceful on a Saturday at 9 am. I'm looking forward to warmer weather so we can enjoy dining outdoors!

This place is super cute! I had the salmon hash and it was a little pricey but flavorful. The only thing I would change is for there to be more umbrellas or shade outside. It was a beautiful day and we wanted to sit outside but many of the tables were in direct sunlight. View menu

Stopped by Kerns for drinks with a friend and loved their generous patio! There's loads of space, flowers on each table, and the obligatory hanging white lights, all of which provided a wonderful atmosphere for catching up. Our server was friendly and very attentive. Although we didn't order much in the way of solid food, I'd definitely come back for the kale salad (and to try some new menu items).

The staff are wonderfully warm and friendly, always going above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable. As a regular customer, they remember my order and have it ready on those busy mornings when I'm rushing to catch the bus. While I'm not someone who typically indulges in fancy coffee drinks, I can say that the coffee here is quite good. The menu has undergone some changes recently, but it still features a variety of delicious options.

Goodbye Bakery Bar (had never actually gone there... , Kerns Kitchen is now in the same location. My first impression is that their outdoor seating will ROCK in summer. It 's incredible. In the restaurant, they have classic decor for their new pizza place. I had the gluten free sausage pizza with a kale salad as a starter. Lemme tell you about this kale salad. SO GOOD. I 'll easily take a truckload of it. The gluten free pizza was equally delectable. I know what you 're thinking, 'not if it 's gluten free. ' and you 'd be wrong. Mmm. View menu

Last week, my wife and I visited this restaurant and were delighted to see that the interior had been redesigned. The new decor creates a more intimate atmosphere, adding character and a fresh vibe. We particularly enjoyed sitting at the bar area, where we savored a delicious breakfast biscuit sandwich. The flavors were fantastic, complemented by excellent coffee. I’m pleased to say that the food is just as incredible as it was under the previous owner of the Bakery Bar, but now it has a unique, personal touch. The new owners are successfully establishing this as a must-visit spot in Portland! We’re looking forward to returning next week to try the dinner menu!
