I've tried many sushi places, but this one truly stands out as the freshest in the OC area. You absolutely have to try the sashimi! Plus, the uni doesn't have any unpleasant smell, which is a great sign.

I've been to many different sushi places, and I can honestly say this one has the freshest offerings in the Orange County area. You must try the sashimi! Additionally, the uni doesn't have any strong smell, which is definitely a plus.

We tried cali rolls, avocado hand roll, edamame and miso soup. The Avocado rolls are unfulfilling. It needs more plus not in cone shape. Miso soup could be slightly bigger. This restaurant is fantastic! I was truly impressed by the quality, freshness, and overall flavor of the dishes. The chefs are incredibly friendly and served up amazing dishes with an 11/10 presentation for everyone. This is, without a doubt, one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve ever experienced, and I will definitely return! 100% recommend!

A very busy place at most of the time. Be patient and only come here when you're not in rush. The place is clean and staffs were friendly. All the dishes were well presented and absolutely delicious with very high quality ingredients. Of course it's expensive but like people always said: You got for what you paid for. Will definitely come back for more

What happened to this place? Used to be solid pre pandemic. Now it is a mess. Terrible service and has food gone downhill. Feels like a diner. Food comes out whenever they want not when you want. Avoid the cooked food. Outright fail. Steak dish was horrendous. Fish was not much better. A lot better options for Japanese food at this price point in the area. View menu

The prices are high, but the quality justifies it. It's definitely worth a try. I've been there with family and friends twice, and we've all enjoyed our meals immensely. There were three of us, and our total bill came to $320. We all agreed that it was worth every penny. If you're a lover of sushi and sashimi, you can truly appreciate the quality here compared to many other places in Irvine. If you're not, you might feel like you're missing out.

Our annual company dinner was a huge success this year. Every dish we ordered was flawlessly prepared. It can be quite challenging to find a table if you arrive between 6 and 8 PM, so I recommend getting there at least 15 minutes before it opens. You absolutely have to try the Suntory beer—it's fantastic! The quality of the food is outstanding. While the menu prices may seem high, you definitely get both quality and generous portions for your money. You really need to experience this for yourself!

Fresh sushi with thoughtful touches in Irvine. A friend recommended this place, so came here for lunch after a walk in the nearby Hicks Canyon Trail (it is an 8-minute walk from the park). There are many parking spaces as there is in a place. You can retrieve an order there. They are currently closed for Dine in due to Kovid, and there were a few outdoor chairs where people ate/sat. It took about 20 minutes to get the food out. The attention to detail was on the point of the ice pack that they contain, to the almost packed utensils with a take-out menu, to the mini-snickers that they contain with the food, everything was thoughtful.
