"This place was a breath of fresh air for a metal head like myself. My girlfriend and I were in Chicago for the weekend and her aunt recommended this spot. The atmosphere was perfect. Metal music was playing over the speakers and the art and decor fit thevibe. I started with a margarita that was both delicious and effective. Food wise, we started off with the Buffalo chicken dip.It was a delicious appetizer that hit the spot. For my main event I got the Plague Bringer burger. VAMPIRES BEWARE. Thisburger was the perfect explosion of garlic flavor for a fan like me. My only complaint was I ordered it medium and it was alittle more medium rare. Overall this place has the right feel, the right stuff and a craft beer list long enough to trysomething new everytime."

Rockin little bar pub. Huge menu for burgers. You can't go wrong. Favors heavy metal back ground music.

Don't go there too often but when we do, it is always a good time. Food and drinks are on point. Always a go to.

had no burger so good in a LONG time. go for the fancier vegan burger option. Do not think about what it was called. View menu

First of all this place is so dope. The music and atmosphere is perfect. Our waiter was super cute and sweet. Can't wait to be back! They also can make the burger however you want if you're not feeling the options on the menu. Thanks guys!

OKAY! Order catering with the expert assistance of Lisa Weatherston and Kuma's for any party/ event you are having at your home! She took care of the details, delivered an amazing variety of sliders, and wow'd our crowd. Definitely recommend!

I have not eaten at Kuma's since becoming vegan, but I did attend an event that Kuma's catered with sliders. There were two vegan slider options, and both were delicious--one had crispy onions and jalapeno, and the other was topped with avocado. So, even without having tried the vegan burgers in the restaurant, I'm confident that they'll be great there, too! View menu

This is a restaurant chain that once proudly touted don't even ask for anything vegan, you won't find it here on their menus only a few years ago. They've clearly gotten over themselves and the idea that to be metal you have to eat dead animals, and they now offer multiple styles of Impossible Burger that are each as delicious as the last. The music is painfully loud but the food is good. Grab a seat in the back garden to escape the noise.

Our waitress was Brittany and she was very friendly. I was recommended this place by my Aunt because she totally knows my vibes, and this place was totally My vibe. I loved the atmosphere and the music. I had the Ace Pineapple Cider which was delicious. Ihad a custom Mac n Cheese and it was equally as delicious. They had a monthly rotating burger and mac n cheese which I alsoenjoyed. Their menu fit the atmosphere and had a lot of creative names for their food which is fun. A bit pricey but it isChicago, so I'm sure that's typical. (I'm a Wisconsin gal)

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
