"The service, friendliness, and ambiance (adorable decor, building, and location) were all outstanding. However, we all felt the food was just average—not bad, but not exceptional either. Each of us ordered different dishes, and the meatloaf seemed to be the most popular choice. I hope they can improve their culinary offerings because there is definitely potential. "2nd stop here in Jan 2025. There is nothing to stop you from coming here Right off Exit 135 , so even if your in a hurry like me, it’s as quick as waiting at some fast food line and getting cold food anyway In and out in 15-20 minutes Outstanding home style food, this time I had shredded pineapple ham, greens, mashed, southern green beans Awesome desserts Past review. I totally stumbled on this place. If you miss old school southern fare , this is it. Cafeteria style service. The fried chicken , chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy all excellent. I will be back. Places like this are almost impossible to find, even in the GA TN mountains where I travel and live part time. Not very far off the highway either so it's an easy diversion Vegetarian options: If you are vegetarian you could make this place work. Not sure if they add ham and bacon flavor to sides though Kid-friendliness: Totally"

"Nice looking place, we were looking for on our way home, thought we would give it try. The staff treated us like we were keeping them there, even though we came in 2 hours before they closed. It was empty and the mode from the staff was very very cold. The burger was ok, the ribs were ok. The Mac and was terribly old and mushy, a person without teeth could easily have eaten it. Overall, I don’t think we would ever return.
