"Here on a Sunday with my family and we wanted a big table. I have a table, but stood there for 10 minutes waiting on the table to be free. Finally it was deleted and cleaned. ordered and got drinks appetizer came out quite quickly. It took a while until our food came out and the family that went before us because the order went out there for a long time. I ordered my short ribs medium rare and got it well done. We all tried the different dishes we ordered, and the food was good. The service was okay. I think the food experience here would be different from a weekday. 10/09/19 18:30 Second visit this time on a weekday less crowded and got a clean table for a party of 8 once we came in. Our drinks ordered our food and it came out in time. Kinda lost our waitress attention while we were fed. Has not checked to see if we needed refills or just want something else. Other then that my dining room experience was better than the first. I ordered the red snapper that was fried a little bit, I would have fried it easily. It was still good and the taste was also good. Home made tortillas, salsa was good, everyone enjoyed their meal. I gave La Cecina another star to my review. Management only needs to contact the customer service of the employees. I'm not saying the staff was not good. Only the lack of attention to the customer. Stop and taste authentic Mexican dishes"

We cater to celebrate my birthday they came earlier than expected. Our guests enjoyed mole verde.

Miss the good Cafe de Olla on nice and regular size coffee mugs, not the hospital-feel mugs they use now.

The food was delicious and served hot. The best part is the hand made corn tortillas! They are fire with their molecajete salsa made in house! View menu

Good family restaurant. Food is great. Waitresses are always on it. Never had a bad experience here. One of my usual spots for brunch or dinner.

The quesadillas are incredibly delicious, especially when they're freshly fried. The service is really friendly, and it's a perfect spot for a quick bite. I would definitely recommend it as a must-try, especially for their homemade tortillas!

The food here was really good, and the service was decent with fair prices. They also have a full liquor bar. I ordered the red snapper, which was served with a delicious red sauce, along with rice and beans and a salad. The portion was generous—I couldn't finish my plate! View menu

The waitress was friendly and attentive. She served us warm chips along with a deliciously spicy salsa. I ordered two chicken caldos—one for dining in and one to take away. Each dish came with rice, tortillas, soup, and garnishes. The soup tasted fresh, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. The tortillas had a homemade quality that I really enjoyed. I also appreciated that they included chips and salsa with my to-go order.

Got breaded steak dinner. Steak was very tender and was thicker than many other restaurants. French fries were thin and crispy very good. They gave me fresh hand made tortillas. Beans and rice were ok and the salsa needed salt. Family restaurant over all it was good and economical. Will go back to try other food for sure.... Went back recently best Mexican dish I've ever had. 5 stars for the food. Thick cut of skirt steak, very tender, perfectly seasoned, and clean cut. Very delicious.

"I 'm a huge fan of 18th Street beers and had super high hopes upon my first visit to the HQ. Unfortunately, our entire group was just confused with the actions of the staff throughout the visit. We started on the distillery side and ordered a couple of drinks. One of our group asked if she could take the drink to the other side (no signage or previous info to go off of, just posing a question). She was told absolutely not in an extremely rude manner by the waiter who then walked away. Once we were done, we then ventured over to the brewery/food side and made the mistake of walking 25 feet through the open building to get there. Once again, no signage with a perfectly open pathway to the tables on the other side. Our waiter ran out of the distillery section to tell us what we were doing was against the rules and to leave the building and re-enter next time. We thought that was strange as well, but shook it off, ready to eat. When we sat down, we joined some of our group that arrived and had about 8 people at this point. The server said there was no way to split checks, which seemed odd for a place that has wireless card readers and digital billing/receipts. We then ate (the food was very good to be fair, along with the beer of course), and paid. Tipping was uncomfortable with the waitress going through the billing screens with me, including the tipping section. There were no options for a tip, so I was told to put in a number and then you 'll see what the percentage is . Once I tried a number that came out a little higher than I had anticipated, I was told Okay, hit next with no time to edit the amount. After that was done, I walked over to what I thought was be the to-go refrigerator when I was stopped by yet another employee who told me to go back to my table and look at my menu to see what beer I could purchase. And lastly, after looking at the charges the next day, it appears I was charged at least an additional $10 over what was shown to me on the billing device. I didn 't keep my receipt which was my fault, so I highly recommend doing that. Overall, we were happy that we finally visited, but all 8 of us were left with a sour taste in our mouth and unfortunately won 't be back. If this is a first time visit for you, check any high expectations you had at the front door."
