"Frozen Not Fresh I originally came from North West Florida and cancer is always fresh. They can say they were frozen because the meat was not tender and juicy. Although it was cooked in a pot with all kinds of spices, you could not really taste the flavors. It is because frozen cancers do not keep the taste, as well as fresh cancer also the natural sweet succulent taste of the cancer was not there. What you'll get is a good meal. Only good to consume was the sausage and the corn not exactly what I came for. It would have been better by service, but I don't complain about it. The restroom was dirty, there was no soap and no paper. I went out. I had to use hand-sanitary to clean my hands. I always wash my hands before meals. If I can't, it's not worth eating. Don't think I'll ever return. It is better to cook your own cancer at home with fresh cancers. It's not hard to do. Just because I had visitors who wanted to try it."

The atmosphere was lovely, and the French music added a charming touch. Overall, the food was quite good. My only complaint is that the potato pancake was stale and definitely not fresh. However, the staff was incredibly friendly.

Maybe it was a wrong choice to have wings here, as many were eating Crawfish and shrimps. But that was the choice we made and it definitely proved a mistake. The overall atmosphere is not so good, tables felt a bit uncomfortable and there is not table service or beer. So be mindful of it. View menu

Quality crawfish. Pricing is not bad at all but its really going to depend on the season. All the drinks they have are canned and its seat your self. You order and pay at the front then they give you a plastic table cover to help with the mess. You can BYOB if you want to have some adult beverages. They have melted butter and a few differnt seasonings you can use to dip. 1 large TV and 2 smaller ones with what ever event is on that day and time.

I've started to notice a common theme in La Madeleine restaurants, at least the ones I've been to in Houston. Food is haphazardly prepared, very basic and uncomplicated which doesn't make the customer feel it's worth the price. Tables and utensils are frequently sticky and just not clean. The ambience is wonderful, staff is a hit or miss. Overall there is an opportunity for improvement, adding more complexity to the food or reducing the price will help. The experience overall compares to eating food similar to waffle House in a fancy upscale French restaurant.
