"The food here was ok. I took my mom out to eat since she lives in Chicago and I live in the suburbs. And we only see each other once a week. Overall inside the restaurant was okay there was a couple rips seats. The waitress was okay it seemed like she was kind of acting rude when I said my quesadilla wasn't good it was just very soggy and oily there was literally oil all over my hand and I asked her to take it back and take it off my bill and she just kind of had a rude way of handle it. Overall it's kind of sad because I really wanted to take my mom out to eat to a good place but I won't be going back here at all."

The Hand-made tacos are the best, this is the only restaurant that i have visited that sells flor de calabaza quesadilla with epazote. The day i had my quesadilla i felt like traveling through time back to my childhood.Food: 5/5

I had the asada, chicken, and pastor tacos. In terms of quality it goes in this order: Pastor, chicken, then asada. The Pastor was excellent, the other two were good, but the asada was a little bit dry. Only a little. Highly recommend the Pastor tacos. VERY good. View menu

Taqueria la Paz is a nice small restaurant on a small street. Service was prompt. I ordered a carrot juice and squash flower quesadilla, which were very good. They also have an extensive variety of juices from kale to cilantro. All the tables were busy, and the noise level was high. The bathrooms are accessible and clean. I do recommend Taqueria La Paz.

I orders here for delivery, the tacos had no flavor at all, at one point I thought the meat was boiled and thrown into a tortilla. The journey didn’t stop there as the Al Pastor was greasy and again lacked any overall flavor. The chile relleno taco was dripping in grease and tasted like old frying oil. The chile was just spicy and lacked any assistance to the flavorless tacos. The tortas had rice in them which for some reason made the torta taste sour. Paid over $60 and on top of that got my order wrong ordered a large horchata got a small.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
