"The fried rice was excellent and loaded with meat. The brisket-steak-meatball pho was also very good, and I appreciated being able to customize the spice level. Our server, Vial, was friendly and attentive. However, when we ordered a chicken vermicelli bowl to go, we were disappointed to find it contained only noodles and chicken, without any vegetables or sauce. This left the dish dry and lacking in flavor. I did take a photo of the unappealing meal but chose not to share it. Unfortunately, by the time we noticed the issue, the restaurant had already closed for the day. The owner did offer us a replacement dish, which I appreciate as a sign of great customer service."

Bastrop is home to an excellent Vietnamese restaurant. I had a craving for pho and was delighted that we decided to stop by. I've returned three times since then while working in the area. The staff has always been friendly and attentive during my visits. I hope they eventually get a larger space, as they are becoming quite popular due to their delicious food. If you live nearby, I highly recommend stopping by to try it out. Let me know if you agree!

There’s so much tofu that the sandwich is a bit challenging to close! It would benefit from some pickled daikon and carrots for added flavor. If you’re seeking vegan options in Bastrop, Lab C offers a wide range of choices, including vegetable broth pho! I’ll definitely be coming back.
