"Located inside the Westin Bonaventure Hotel Suites in Downtown, LA, the Lakeview Bistro offers a wonderful full on hot breakfast buffet! I was pleasantly surprised to receive a voucher for 2 upon check in. Rehan was so very welcoming me at the restaurant entrance and seated me quickly. When I asked about a take out order for my son, he told me he'd bring me the boxes and that I should relax and take my time dining in first before preparing a box for my son. Food was hot and ono! French toast, hash browns, eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, pastries, bagels, oatmeal and assorted cold cereal! Service was top notch! Special props and recognition to Rehan who showed and displayed service above and beyond. He shared with me how he has been in the restaurant business for over 35 years and why it's important to him to deliver good service to all guests! His warm and genuine personality made my morning start off on a high! mahalo Rehan!"

Not bad at all; it's a pretty decent breakfast spot. I've probably driven by Lakeview Bistro countless times without noticing it. Located in Lakeview, it definitely deserves a visit for breakfast.

Breakfast buffet was just okay. Not the freshest in the world. Biggest issue is they don't include coffee in the price and then charge you $7.00 for the coffee. So for a $24 buffet, expect it to really be $31/pp. View menu

Came here the 27th of June we sat at a table a little far from the bar and asked for a drink but the server said that we we're too far and would have to move but next to use 2 guests were sitting equally away but the server had no problem getting themdrinks from the bar very disappointed with he service.

This bistro is absolutely incredible! The fresh food is served in a gourmet style, and the atmosphere is impeccable. Our connection to the kitchen was fantastic, thanks to Brown, an amazing chef who truly cares about his work and making others happy. Hats off to Brown—he's a true professional in every sense! I had a wonderful dining experience here at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in LA. We enjoyed breakfast, and I was impressed by the politeness and attentiveness of the servers. The food was delicious; we ordered the Tofu and Egg Scramble, Cheese Omelette, and French Toast, all accompanied by coffee. I will absolutely come back to try lunch as well! View menu

Do you need a wonderful place to meet for breakfast downtown? Lakeview has a fantastic breakfast buffet with everything you like to eat. I can't say enough good things about their waiters. They were attentive, warm, friendly and paid close attention to my big family. The waiters immediately handed me water when I had a cough. My nephews were also very happy with the food and service. BTW, lots of places in LA have names that don't have anything to do with the place. There is no lake at the Bonaventure!

I purchased the breakfast buffet for $24.99 each and, to be honest, it was not worth the price at all. The food was either soggy or dry and lacked seasoning. The options were limited, and juices were an additional $9. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend the buffet, and I believe you would be better off exploring nearby local dining options. I was excited to try this buffet since it was conveniently located in our hotel, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hotel’s standards, which was quite disappointing.
