"First time coming here and will never return. I read all the great reviews and it made me want to try it out. But regret. My bf ordered huevos rancheros and the meal was terrible, the beans and tomato salsa tasted like pure cumin. It was not enjoyable at all. The Horchata was really good but the cup’s rim smelled like old egg, as if they don’t properly wash the dishes. I ordered chilaquiles and they were ok. Overall it left us never wanting to come back."

One of my favorite places for comfort food in the neighborhood. The Mexican twist to the burgers and sandwiches really levels up those dishes. The service has been really good each time that I have gone.

Horrible experience. I ordered carnitas tacos. They were HORRENDOUS. More fat than meat. I didn’t even finished my 1st taco let alone the other two. I complained to the server and I was still charged. Awful.

I have been really impressed with everything I've tried here. The last time I visited, I ordered a kale salad, initially thinking it might have been a mistake to choose it at a Mexican cafe. To my surprise, it was delightful—the best I've ever had!

We eat here regularly. Great staff and menu. The subway noise overhead is loud, but not a problem. Good steak and burgers. “Roosevelt corn” and esquites are excellent appetizers. There's are many reasons we live in NYC, and quietness is not one of them.
