"This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food tastes authentic and is packed with flavor. I think their chips are the best; they're fresh and a bit thicker than those at other places. Just a heads up, both salsas are spicy. They offer a green avocado salsa and a red salsa, which is a bit different from the usual kind. I'm a huge fan of the gorditas. While I'm not too fond of the rice—it doesn't quite resemble traditional Mexican rice—it’s not bad. The staff is always friendly, the food is delicious, and it's really convenient to have a grocery section as well. I get most of my peppers from here."

Perfect! Without a doubt, this is the best, most affordable, and most authentic Mexican food around for miles! It's true comfort food, incredibly fresh and flavorful. As someone from Southern California, this place reminds me of home. The chilaquiles for breakfast are absolutely delicious, and the shrimp ceviche tostadas, especially with the extra fresh avocado, are amazing! It's our family's favorite spot. Great authentic Mexican food. Notice I said AUTHENTIC. I think it's fair to say that the people that voted against this place are used to the usual tex mex that you can find everywhere else in town. If you're idea of mexican food is ground beef covered in cheese dip, then go else where. Viva Las Americas! Also, for dessert I recommend going to Nom Noms right up the road where they have HOMEMADE paletas (mexican ice cream bars) and 56 other favors of homemade ice cream, as well as some Mexican fare of their own.
