"The food was ok the prices are crazy. $15 for a small plate of rice and beans with chicken. If the food was like “we jamming” with that real Caribbean taste. I wouldn’t mind paying such high prices. $5 for some Greasy spongy like consistency tamales. If this is now the trend in Los Angeles with belizean restaurants. Charging so much for a little plate of half Mek belizean food for an arm and leg. I rather save mi money fly dah Belize and eat authentic Belizean food.Made with love clean ingredients And serve with a smile, not that stank attitude most belizean restaurants in Los Angeles have. Please make sure the quality of your food match the price."

Currently enjoying my meal at this restaurant. The chicken is tender and delicious, and the plantains are also excellent. Additionally, the staff are very friendly and relaxed.

First time customer today. My family and I really enjoyed the oxtail, rice and beans, potato salad, and plantain plate. The oxtail were juicy and flavorful. We are definitely returning and want to thank you for such great food and service.

The food at this restaurant is amazing and comes in large portions at a great price. The customer service is excellent as well. I will definitely be recommending this hidden gem to all my friends. Don't leave without trying the stew chicken with plantains!

Cool little place with a Caribbean attitude. They had live music out front when I was there. I had the sampler platter which was good, simple, fresh and filling. Many of the sides are made with the fried masa and they do it well. It's a small place but an enjoyable stop. It really felt like a lil Belizean restaurant. View menu

They offer numerous tasty vegetarian choices that are marked with a green heart on the menu. I tried the garnaches (tostadas with beans, cheese, and salsa) and a ducunu (a sweet corn tama), accompanied by a delightful coffee. Since the end of February, they have only had outdoor seating available, but the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff was exceptionally friendly.

The restaurant offers many delicious vegetarian options that are identified on the menu with a green heart symbol. I tried the garnaches (tostadas with beans, cheese, and salsa) and a ducunu (a sweet corn tamal), along with a tasty coffee. During my visit in late February, outdoor dining was the only option available, but the quiet sidewalk setting was pleasant and the staff were very friendly.

Disappointed after a long drive to get there. Just went for dessert and got coconut tart and milk pie, which tasted fake. It tasted like they use lime juice out the bottle and not fresh limes. Also got a bun, which was bland. Try putting some spices in them?just taste like flour water and sugar. The one good thing was the coconut tart. Based on the reviews the stew chicken and rice and beans is good. I?ll give that a chance next time, and will exclude desserts. View menu

This little Inglewood spot is heavenly! The oxtails and beans, rice, and plantain rank up there with the best I've ever had! My daughter swears by the stew chicken and my wife, usually the harshest food critic, is absolutely in love with the meatballs. She gave me a small bite and while they?re just a tad spicy (but I'm the ultimate lightweight in what's considered spicy so it's pretty light), they?re awesome, came with beans, rice, and plantain. Their potato salad is

Food was good, however I ordered online and when I picked up the food I saw everything was there except the milk cake I ordered. I went back to tell them I ordered a milk cake and they said they ran out so they were gonna refund me for it. Never got the refund. Emailed them later on and they said the same thing again. Still never got the refund. The fact that there was no effort to deliver on what I paid for is what makes this a 2/5. They could have offered to replace it

"Came home from my tennis lesson and wanted some fresh juice. I usually go to this spot in Inglewood or drive over to Simply Wholesome in Windsor Hills. I have a cold press juicer at home, but I didn 't have anything in the frig to juice. Went on Yelp and put in fresh juice near me. JUICEBAE came up and it was .3 miles away. I hadn 't heard of them before. It was so close, I had to go and check this place out.My GPS took me to an area I call, Downtown Westchester! I found parking across the street. In my nineteen years of living in Westchester, I 've been on on 87th Street many times for the farmer 's market, the old First Friday Food Trucks, and to eat at various restaurants. JUICEBAE was obviously a new restaurant.I walked in and was greeted by a young lady (Raquel). I told her I 'd never been there and I wanted some juice. She explained that they were a Vegan restaurant that was partly Grab Go with fresh daily juices and food items in a refrigerator section. They also make food to go and for consumption in their dining area. I 'd been trying to eat more Plant Based food and was intrigued by the options of food and juices in the refrigerator section. I chose a Mango Passion Fruit juice. I was kinda hungry so I decided to order The BEST Sandwich! It didn 't take that long for my sandwich be prepared. It came with seasoned lightly fried fruit that was like a Banana or Plantain. It SMELLED go good, I couldn 't resist having a LITTLE taste. I got into my car, cleaned my hands. I first took a taste of one of the slices of fruit. DELICIOUS! The seasoning on it was (as my 21 year old son says) FIRE! So good! I then took a bite into one half of The BEST Sandwich! WOW! The rosemary in the toasted smelt bread was prominent, but not over bearing. The grilled veggies (squash, zucchini, portobello mushrooms), caramelized onions, sundried tomato spread, and hummus between this bread is simple, yet GENIUS! So much FLAVOR. As I sat in my car, I kept eating the half of sandwich alternating bites with the fried banana fruit. The flavors of the two dishes were so good together. As I drove off, I finished the sandwich half and a lot of the fruit. Driving home (remember I live .3 miles away) I couldn 't wait to eat the rest. I really wasn 't that hungry but I parked in my driveway and FINISHED the rest of the meal. Thoroughly Satisfied! I also had half of the tasty Mango Passionfruit Juice. The week after Thanksgiving, I wanted some juice and something to snack on while I ran some errands. I went back to JUICEBAE! I grabbed another Mango Passionfruit Juice and something called Snack Quartet in a container with four separate section containing: Fresh Blueberries, Fresh Trail Mix, Hummus Dip, and seasoned Teff Chips (similarly seasoned with what was on those banana fruit). I also got a container of their Chick Pea Chowder and some Apple Strawberry Ginger juice.I went home to drop off the juices and chowder and snacked on the Snack Quartet as I drove around. First, I alternated eating the blueberries and trail mix. You can tell that the trail mix was FRESH! It had walnuts, coconut, and dried fruit. The combo of these two were satisfying and portions were just enough to get me through the first leg of my errands. I saved the best two for last. I have never had Teff Chips before. Paired with that creamy hummus. So Good! What are Teff Chips? The chips were seasoned with a similar seasoning from those fried bananas. They were more like a cracker. I want a bag/box of these chips/crackers. Later that evening, I warmed up half of the Chick Pea Chowder! All I can say is DAMN! It was the consistency of a normal New England Clam Chowder. The flavor was so good. I 'd never had soup with Chick Peas. The next day, I had the reminder of the chowder with some brown rice. WOW! I can really maintain and do a Vegan/Plant Based healthy lifestyle with a restaurant like JUICEBAE"

"Some of these low reviews crack me up lol but maybe they improved because I had a GREAT experience. I am so glad I went. My cousin from Canada will call me up when she is in LA and we get to experience a local (black owned soul food if we can) cuisine together. This time it was flavor table and the food was solid! We were attended to right away and when seated our waiter Willie had all the energy and got our drinks right away. We ordered our food and it didn't take too long but everything was piping hot, I love this. I would prefer fresh hot food vs warm food because I'll just send it back to get heated up. I ordered the wings combo and the peace cobbler French toast. Fire! The wing (asked for them to be fried hard) came out perfect and delicious. Wings were juicy. The peach cobbler sauce was perfect not too sweet and just right to pour over the French toast. I love that it comes in a bowl so I am in control of how I want to dress up my French toast. This is a solid establishment and all the waiters paid attention but wasn't in my face every second which was great. Oh yeah they forgot our waters and Willie was occupied so the gentleman that seated us was right there so I asked him for our water and he was super apologetic and got us 3 waters right away. Lovely service/staff and nice atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3"
