"Liv Breads is an absolute treasure in the neighborhood! They offer the best bread I've ever tasted— their sourdough has a perfectly baked crust and a wonderfully soft, moist interior. Their sandwiches are also amazing, with the tuna salad being a standout! The dessert pastries are delightful as well; you must try the chocolate croissant. They have a full espresso bar with excellent coffee selections. They serve pizzas on weekends, though I haven't tried them yet. Occasionally, their app may inaccurately indicate whether something is available, but they will call you if there’s an issue. The servers are fantastic—friendly and well-informed. If you’re at the Short Hills Mall, stopping by their kiosk is essential! I highly recommend Liv Breads!"

Be sure to try their spinach and cheese Bourekas, brownies, and of course, a latte. The service is quick.

The food is delicious and fresh, beautifully presented. The ambiance is relaxed, and you can see into the bustling kitchen of the bakers.

This restaurant has lost its charm and is now way too expensive. Price per person: $10–20. Food rating: 3/5. Service rating: 1/5. Atmosphere rating: 1/5.

I used to really love this place, but it's become quite extreme. The babka is delicious, but charging $25 for bread and chocolate is outrageous. This will be my last visit. View menu

I visit this restaurant every week with my wife, and we really enjoy coming here to do our homework. The owner even treated us to a complimentary slice of pizza, which was fantastic. Thank you so much! The service and hospitality are wonderful.

The sourdough loaf and baguette at this restaurant are simply exceptional! For takeout during brunch, I found the prices to be around $20–30 per person. Both the food and service deserve a perfect score of 5, as does the overall atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the chocolate croissant and the regular croissants, along with their other bakery items.

As a cookie enthusiast, I can confidently say that their chocolate chip cookies are a true delight! The combination of butter and vanilla perfectly complements the semi-sweet chocolate chips. While I'm usually not a fan of tarts—preferring simpler baked goods like cookies, cakes, pies, or cupcakes—I was pleasantly surprised by their chocolate salted caramel tart, which is absolutely exquisite. This restaurant may not be budget-friendly, but it aligns well with the surrounding area and its clientele. I opted for takeout service during my visit. View menu

Liv Breads is a wonderful bakery situated in Millburn. This was my first visit, and I was genuinely impressed by the flavors and quality of the food and beverages I ordered! They offer a wide variety of choices, including sandwiches, pastries, croissants, and more. I opted for an almond croissant and a chai latte, which came with a complimentary chocolate chip cookie. Everything was incredibly delicious and full of flavor. Chai lattes can be hit or miss, but they truly perfected it here! I arrived around 11 am, and the bakery was well-stocked with everything still fresh, which is very important to me. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area!

There’s a great selection of items, but we decided to try their croissants along with a few other things. The croissants were fantastic! They were flaky, buttery, and I appreciated that they weren’t just the typical “airy” kind. We tried chocolate, almond, and plain, but I was particularly impressed by the simplicity and perfection of the plain one. We also got some cheese sticks and a financier to go. Liv served some delicious coffee with beautiful latte art! I completely understand why this place is so popular. Although it’s a bit on the pricey side, the pastries are delicious and fresh, making it worth the splurge! Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would definitely recommend...

"I tried this establishment since it’s opening and the service is severely lacking in skills. Our waiter wasn’t able to speak about flavor profiles of the cocktails. When placing our meal order, we requested flour tortilla for their tacos. When order came out, we mentioned that the tacos had been placed on corn and his response was “it only comes this way”. If he had stated that earlier, the fiber would have chooses differently. The lack of service was so apparent, we requested to speak to the manager. The manger arrives without saying his name nor did state “how may I help you”. The manger stood there and said hello. And it was just awkward. He did offer to remake the plate; but enough time had passed and my friend was starving. Instead of checking on us as we were almost the only 1 of 3 tables, no one checked in. Upon paying, we asked our waiter to just call out the names on the credit cards and his response was “I have to clean”. In the time the waiter stated that, he could had read/passed out the receipts. We asked for a manager and this time the assistant manager came to our table and this time we were just horrified about the lack of professionalism. She did comp the tacos; but if you have to speak two times to management for lack of customer service, there is an opportunity to enhance staff training and an opportunity for the manager to just check-in and take care of the table himself. Do not know if I can recommend this establishment as service and management style are not consistent with what a restaurant that wants longevity."
