Great place to get Mexican food in HTC. The empanadas were the only disappointment from the meal. The breaking tasted off and they were not very full. But everything else was great!

Our server, Jesus, was excellent. We enjoyed the always delicious cauliflower and the ceviche. The Brazilian cheese bread with chorizo was not our favorite; it would have been very bland without it. View menu

The 3 of us enjoyed a great lunch on the patio. We all three ordered the Red Drum fish because its one of our favorites. Service was great, and our dish was as good as always. Look forward to when we come back.

I love the ambiance of this location and we were seated right away. Our waiter was accommodating with the menu and attentive. The skirt steak was my favorite dish we ordered but overall our entire meeting was very good.

The waiter was well-informed and extremely pleasant. They were familiar with all the dishes and gave excellent recommendations. There were seven of us and we sampled everything from the cauliflower appetizer to the red drum to the el pastor tacos. The desserts were exceptional as well. They even brought out a complimentary dessert for the newlyweds. We definitely plan on returning! View menu

I’d forgotten just how good Livery is. We love the downtown location, had tried this location once when they first opened and never went back. That was a huge mistake.We were blown away by how good everything was. Plantains are highly recommended. They’re sweet, spicy, creamy, and savory all at once. Pork Chop was excellent and steak was cooked perfectly. Livery will be a regular date spot going forward

Service was not up to par on this visit. Our appetizers arrived fast well before our drinks. One drink was delivered to the table and the server left before we could ask where my dining companion's drink was. After 10 minutes, I went to the bar as we could not get the attention of anyone. The drink was there but probably would have never been brought to our table if I had not asked about it. This is the problem with places where your primary server takes the order, then others do the serving. No coordination. I tipped my usual 20% but felt it was not well earned as the table was in the very back corner near the restrooms and seemed to be largely ignored throughout the entire meal.

We finally decided to try the Livery (having gone to Ford's Garage last time when the wait was too long). We were very impressed. The food was amazing. We got the lamb empanadas, which were quite good, although the flavor of the sauce was stronger than the filling. Still enjoyed it.We got the peachy keen and pear passion cocktails. Neither were that sweet, which is great (I hate sweet cocktails). The peachy keen was by far the favorite. I would not order the pear one again, as the prominent flavor was not pear to me but something vaguely pineapply?For entrées, we split the Red Drum and the carnitas tacos. They were both very good.
