"Lo Nuestro Dominican Restaurant is a relatively new spot in the area, so I decided to give it a try. While many customers seem to enjoy the food, I found it to be just average—nothing particularly outstanding. One downside was that they forgot to include the beans with my rice, which was disappointing. I ordered two pastelitos: one with chicken and one with beef and cheese. The chicken had a nice flavor, but there was too much cheese for my taste. If you love cheese, you might appreciate it, but I prefer a more balanced flavor profile. Additionally, they ran out of sauce, so I couldn't fully enjoy my meal. Overall, I'm not sure I'll be returning anytime soon."

The service was exceptional, the prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious. I truly enjoyed both the meal and the attentive service.

After living in NYC for so long and then moving away, I had a craving for Dominican food. This place did not disappoint — it was even better than the Dominican food I had in uptown Manhattan. I will definitely be coming back!

Opinions on what qualifies as "burnt" can differ significantly, but it is entirely unacceptable to dismiss a polite customer who shares their concerns. I was quite disappointed with the level of customer service at this restaurant. View menu

The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is wonderful. The staff who serve us every time we visit are incredibly friendly. There are also some amazing dishes not listed on the menu, such as the garlic shrimp, peas and rice, stewed chicken, and baked chicken. Enjoy your meal!

This restaurant truly serves the BEST mofongo I've ever tasted! I was concerned that moving away from NYC would make it difficult to find authentic Dominican food, but this place surpassed my expectations in both authenticity and flavor. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for genuine Dominican cuisine. The Cuban sandwich and mofongo are absolutely amazing.

3. Regarding customer service, the servers seemed a bit hesitant and lacking in confidence. They could benefit from smiling more and bringing more energy to their interactions. It felt as if they had just woken up—while they were friendly, they appeared somewhat fatigued. Perhaps the music contributed to this ambiance. A bit more enthusiasm would make a significant difference! Overall, I had a wonderful experience, but these small changes could truly elevate it. View menu

The seating area is spacious enough to accommodate a large family, and since I only needed a table for two, it was perfect. There were visible vegetarian options alongside the other menu items. As for parking, it is located at a mall, which does require some walking. In terms of kid-friendliness, the staff was very welcoming, and the seating area is suitable for children in strollers. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible, with plenty of space and movable chairs and booths. Overall, a great experience!

I had an outstanding dining experience! The food is consistently delicious, and every dish I've sampled has been remarkable. However, what truly sets this place apart is the fantastic customer service. The owner, Niulka, is an absolute treasure—both in her personality and her approach to hospitality. She goes the extra mile to ensure you feel welcomed. Niulka and her daughter, Lisa, are incredibly attentive, always ready to take your order or refill your drinks. This restaurant is my favorite choice for dining, and it will continue to be as long as they are in operation!

"We had requested the rounded corner booth in the main dining room and arrived 20 minutes early, planning to enjoy a cocktail at the bar. But instead, we were seated at a booth right next to our preferred one. A couple finished their meal shortly after we sat down, well before our 6:30 reservation. We ordered a Beefeater gin and tonic and a very dry Beefeater martini. Both drinks had an unusual, perfume-like scent that was quite off-putting. My wife sent her drink back, and I decided to switch to a Bombay martini, but the same strange floral fragrance persisted. I regularly enjoy Beefeater and Bombay dry martinis and have never experienced this odd aftertaste before. For my main course, the Duck and Porcini confit ragu had hardly any duck in it. There were only a few shreds of duck meat hidden in the tagliatelle, but no substantial pieces. My wife’s Pesto and Shrimp dish arrived swimming in a broth. While this might be a traditional way to serve it, there was no mention of broth on the menu. She had expected the pesto to be coated on the pasta and oily, rather than soupy. As much as we have loved Capriccio over the past three decades, this experience was disappointing. We didn't even stay for dessert. We'll certainly return, but I hope to avoid writing another negative review. I usually don’t share my thoughts unless absolutely necessary, but I felt compelled to do so this time."
