"This place is a definite tourist destination. The environment is great and the Margaritas are excellent. Stick to the frozen ones, they seem to kick in a bit more than those on the rocks. The Texas size Margarita used to be one of my all time favorites but it is alot of alcohol and alot of sugar. I know stick to the El Paso (medium) size. The food is so so. It's not what I would call the best Mexican food in town but it's not bad either. The only bad thing about this venue is that you do come out smelling alot like Mexican grease. Lol. Other than that, it's a great place to go and have a get together with friends, family, or coworkers."

Had a great meal. Excellent chips and salsa. Tacos al Pastor were fantastic. They even gave my wife a special birthday treat.

I don't know how I haven't reviewed this location in prior years, but this was one of the first restaurants I ever went to a decade ago upon my first visit...

Great service and great food. I had the shrimp cocktail, El Paso style and it was satisfying. Margarita well great. Overall a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely will return. View menu

This Mexican restaurant has authentic decor with friendly staff and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I wish I would have taken pictures of it nicely decorated but wasn't thinking ahead. The food was good and I would recommend this place to a friend or family member.

1st time here, we ran in for lunch. Loved the atmosphere, and the whole place smelled delicious. The chips and salsa they put on the table...you can see from the picture, the Chips were as big as my hand...and very good. I had the nachos...appetizer and it was huge. Couldn't eat the whole thing. The food was great, the service was fast and friendly. Will totally go back there again while I'm in town for the next 3 months.

The food wasn't that great honestly???? it was my first time and I expected better. My husband ordered the red enchiladas (which he loves) and they were said to be good here however they were basic and small. The portion of food seemed small but serving size I guess. I ordered the quesadilla and it was poorly made almost just thrown together and barely heated up. Others with us didn't feel satisfied about their meal either so... We sat outside on the back covered patio, View menu

I have traveled to El Paso many times, and ALWAYS thought to eat at Los Bandidos De Carlos Mickey 's. I love their fish tacos, their margaritas are FOR REAL, and the facility is an architecturally interesting place to be in! The owner brings in very talented local musicians to play in the lounge, and that is a real joy! One guy from Juarez (who plays what I call 'Mexican Jazz ' convinced me to come on stage and play HIS guitar while he sang in Spanish! That was awesome! Everyone who likes Mexican food should eat here!

They were busy, which means they are a popular place. I had to wait almost 45 minutes for a table. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The Margarita was wonderful. Queso was okay, not great. I ordered steak and chicken fajitas, and they were good. I prefer my veggies a little more done but otherwise very tasty. On to desert, the flan was okay, not the best I've ever had, crusty on bottom and very bland. All in all it was a good place to eat and the service was great. I was alone and spent $50 on a full course; this is a little expensive in my taste, especially for fair quality. I would not go again.

"Our father's day celebration on June 19, 2022, was filled with loving thoughts, joyful hours, and memorable moments. Raven served our delicious, nutritious lunch. She was friendly, professional, and sincere as she was attentive to our needs, cheerfulas she helped us, and knowledgeable regarding our orders. Garret, on the other hand, served our appetizers. His humorous stylemade us laugh with his jokes, resulting in a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. Black Angus in El Cajon is a fine diningplace because, in addition to its adequate parking spaces, the workers observed punctuality, as manifested by the timely arrivalof our appetizers, main courses, salads, and beverages. The prime rib and lobsters were cooked to perfection as we felt thetenderness and succulence of the meat while we were biting on them. The salads were fresh, prepared with the right amount ofvegetables, and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. The server mixed the beverages with the right amount of sweetness andacidity. The table was clear of unnecessary plates, cups, silverware, and other dining necessities. Undisturbed by noisy peopledining nearby and partly surrounded by high-upholstered benches, the place was quiet and provided an unexpected but neededprivacy. Raven and Garret performed their duties not obsequiously but accommodatingly, as indicated by their warm smile andcheerful demeanor. The confluence of a warm and cozy room, delicious food, refreshing beverages, needed privacy, and reasonableand outstanding service made our father's day celebration satisfying and worth repeating."
