Louie's Coney Island

A must stop if you're traveling through the Kokomo area. You won't be disappointed

Old school dinner feel, excellent bakes and coney dogs, the burgers aren't bad either.

I had Greek salad with meat and a gyro it was very good I recommend it. I will get it again. I did see that most people were getting the hotdogs though.

People were really nice and attentive. Not the best coney dog though. A better sauce would’ve went a long way. Girlfriend enjoyed the tenderloin though.

Food is really good, however, the drive thru is very slow and there’s always a long line so if you’re trying to make a quick stop on your lunch break, avoid the drive thru! But overall food is always good! View menu

We were looking for a small non-chain place to have a quick lunch, Louise’s hit the mark. It has the old diner feel and great service. I wasn’t sure what the baked hamburger was so I tried one. When it was served I thought they mistakenly brought me a coney. Nope, that’s how the baked hamburger is made. I liked it as well as the feta fries. If I am ever in Kokomo again I will stop in again.

Louie 's definitely has a big piece of Kokomo 's heart and mine too! It 's family owned and is a local favorite! Their coney sauce cannot be beat! It 's very unique in flavor and very different from any other coney place! I remember the original downtown location and walking there after school with groups of kids just for their bakes. Their new location is near US 931 (old 31) and west of Crew Car Wash. It 's set up kind of like an old fashioned dinner. It 's a fun atmosphere!The bake is a local favorite and unique to Louie 's. I’ve been wanting to check out Louie’s Coney Island for a long time. How me and this restaurant could be in the same town for so many years and never cross paths until today is beyond me. Anyway, I stopped in for lunch with a friend who had also never been there. The restaurant was very busy and it took several minutes before anyone took our order, but once our order was placed the food came out surprisingly quickly. We both got a Baked Hamburger and a Coney Island hotdog. My friend is perhaps a little pickier than me.
