"As always the service the attention to detail and many thanks to the owner Joe. Luce Ristoranti e Enoteca is a tucked away gem. If you’ve never been then it’s the right time, if it’s been awhile it’s time to go back. This is our favorite Italian Restaurant in all of SA, we have been to the best and the not so good too. When you expect Al Dente thats exactly what you get. The Australian Lamb Chops, Steaks, Seafood, Veal Chicken are cooked perfectly to your liking. Plus they have wines galore whatever you like they got. They sell one of the best if not the best pizza’s in town, cooked in a hearth oven. You don’t have to dress to the nines just casual and presentable. We have our very own wine locker there as well. It’s very convenient because you can stop for pizza and wine with family and friends and you can grab a bottle or two from your wine locker and the wine is paid already. Our favorite place in San Antonio. 5 Stars and I mean that. Try it for yourself you’ll see why I’m ranting. Ed Lolly"

A decent experience overall. The rigatoni was excellent. However the carbonara was objectively terrible. Just not palatable whatsoever. That recipe and/or execution needs to be reworked from the ground up. The drinks were above average and the environment was very nice for a Saturday evening. View menu

Perhaps we visited this place on an off night. The drinks at the bar were subpar and lacking proper garnishes. Our server mentioned that the bartender was new, which may explain the issue. The piccata sauce was overly watery and overly sour. Our server was excellent and took good care of us, although my suggestion would be to always carry more than one pen.

Firstly, it is a rare occurrence to find a happy hour on a Saturday, but this restaurant offers plenty of seating at the bar. Secondly, the dining menu and wine selection are extensive and reasonably priced. Thirdly, the chef and their team consistently impress us with their dishes, we have never been let down. I highly recommend trying the pasta, veal, seafood, and beef dishes - we have enjoyed everything except the pizza, as we have never tried it.
