The restaurant was filthy and disgusting. The staff were rude and unprofessional. I wouldn’t even let my dog eat here.

I only enjoy the egg rolls and steamed dumplings. The last time I ordered the shrimp and broccoli, the shrimp was bad; it was mushy and had an unpleasant smell. When I mentioned this to my wife, she accused me of not being truthful. That's why I stick to ordering what I know I like.

I wouldn't recommend ordering from Lucky's if you're really hungry, as it takes a long time for them to deliver your food. Additionally, the prices are quite high—over $30 for a pizza is excessive. I also suggest avoiding the cheesesteak sub; the last one I had was dry, and there's nothing worse than a dry cheesesteak. They could really use a little mayonnaise on it! View menu

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! I would have given them 0 stars if that were possible! They might keep getting customers because they have late hours, which gives them an advantage. I ordered 5 wings and fried rice. The rice was dark and looked like it had been cooked in soy sauce, and to make matters worse, it was completely crunchy and undercooked! SMH! The wings were over-fried, tasted like they were cooked in old grease, and of the few that were edible, one had hair on it and the other two...

I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. There was a woman who seemed to be really mean, and I noticed she was abusive towards her children. While I was placing my order, I saw her daughter sitting in a chair, rubbing her bruised leg. The woman yelled at everyone around her—her kids, her husband, and even other customers. Surprisingly, her husband and children were quite nice, and I couldn't understand how they were related to her. It made me wonder why her husband married her in the first place. The kids looked genuinely sad, especially the girl. I felt really bad for her; it seemed like she was up until 1 AM because her mother wouldn’t let her rest.

The cashier was very friendly but it did notice one thing coming into the restaurant the doors and the door handle needs to be cleaned constantly because people sweat touch the door handle touch the glass so that's cross-contamination when dealing withthe food and then they pass it a fool they not wearing gloves so it's a fungus there they need to be taken care of cuz I did notsee no sanitized water nowhere cuz when you touch the door going to a restaurant you don't sanitize your hands then you get thefood you still don't sanitize your hands you touching the food with fungus from touching a door handle and then they not wearinggloves it's more fun this which builds and cross contamination an... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! I would’ve gave them 0 stars if I could!!!! Although they’ll continue to get business bc they have late hours and that gives them an edge up!Ordered 5 wings and fried rice the rice was dark and looked like it was cooked in soy sauce and to top it all off, it was COMPLETELY CRUNCHY AND NOT DONE!! SMH! The wings were OVER FRIED, tasted like they were fried in bad grease and, the wings that we could eat, one had hair on them and the other two didn’t have any taste at all!!It’s sad that they even put that SLOP in a container and actually gave it to us after we had to wait almost 30 mins for 5 wings and rice!! They build in African American neighborhoods and think that th...

I found the cashier to be very friendly, but I did notice an important issue upon entering the restaurant. The doors and the door handles need to be cleaned regularly. People sweat and touch these surfaces, which leads to cross-contamination when they're handling food. Additionally, I observed that staff were not wearing gloves while preparing or serving food. This raises concerns about hygiene, as I didn't see any sanitizing stations available. When entering the restaurant, if you don't sanitize your hands after touching the door, you risk transferring germs to the food. The lack of proper sanitation and glove use creates a greater risk for cross-contamination and foodborne illnesses. This...

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
