Luna Grand Rapids - Menu

The shrimp tacos were incredible! The chips were so delicious that we ordered more the following day. My husband has allergies to milk and gluten. The service was excellent, and the mango margarita was fantastic. I wish I could give this place 6 stars!

One of my favorite restaurants in downtown GR. Food is pretty good but the drinks are phenomenal, especially the spicy margarita and the mojito. Also a great location and within walking distance of Van Andel which makes it a great place to stop before a show

Update: We returned for dinner and ordered the chips and guacamole, which was a generous portion and definitely worth the price. The tacos were tasty as well; they might have been a little dry, but still enjoyable. The only downside is that it can get quite loud inside when it's busy, but that's not really an issue! View menu

I saved Luna for my last day in Grand Rapids, and it did not disappoint. The tacos, margaritas, and entertainment were all fantastic. I tried the three-taco trio, which included steak, pork, and shrimp. Three tacos weren't quite enough, so I decided to add a flight of three different margaritas: traditional, mango, and spicy.

This place is not bad. I got steak, chicken, fish tacos which I enjoyed. I also tried the spicy classic margaritas. I liked the spicy one better but they were both missing limes salt. My wait was around 30-45 mins even though they told me it would be a 1-2 hour wait. I was able to wait outside, in a seated area, where I got my drinks. I would try Luna GR again.

Their food is great! Chips are guacamole are some of the best we’ve had from a restaurant. Their pork and carne asada tacos are the best of them all. Their margaritas are only just okay though, we weren’t a big fan. The environment is pretty nice, feels a little “hipster” in there. The food here was decent, but when compared to Donkey (another local and similar restaurant), everything here didn’t taste as good except for the queso dip. I got the Al Pastor, Pork, and Carne Asada tacos and a prickly pear margarita. They did comp the appetizer since a waiter dropped plates on us which was nice. If I had to choose between here and Donkey, I would choose Donkey but it was still a nice meal and the service was good.

Great experience at this restaurant tonight. We would definitely return next time we are in GR. What we ordered: 2 x Tacos Carne Asada Chorizo 1 x Chips and Queso/Guacamole What I liked: Service it was a busy night and the service was decent. Tacos corn tortillas were very flavourful. Wish we could’ve tried the fish but they were sold out by the time we ordered. Only was that they were a bit dry. Vibes restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff was busy rushing orders and drinks out. If you are looking for authentic tacos and a good dining experience, definitely check out Luna!!

So I do have to say this place is really nice the staff was very friendly the food was very beautiful when it came out homemade salsas were delicious and I actually enjoyed my food quite a bit although my wife and my dad did not care for it too much. The homemade dessert was very tasty as well. Not knowing if it was connected or not all three of us did have to use the bathroom quite a bit after this restaurant unfortunately we didn't eat anything else that day. I assumed it was not from this place because everything was very fresh looking and high-end. I also feel that it's kind of pricey for tacos just because I believe that tacos should be a cheap meal because they're very cheap to make. B... View menu
