"In my opinion, this is the best seafood restaurant in all of Horry County. The atmosphere is simple, with a humble little cabin tucked away on the side of the road. It's run by just one person, so be prepared to wait a while. However, I can assure you that the wait is well worth it. My go-to dish is the seafood platter, which includes Flounder, Shrimp, Scallops, Oysters, deviled crab, and a side of potatoes and coleslaw. You can choose to have it fried or broiled. The scallops are absolutely delicious, and the hush puppies are served hot with big chunks of onion. While you may receive faster service at other restaurants by the inlet, you'd be paying double the price for a platter that's only half as good. I'm thrilled to have discovered this hidden gem. Keep in mind that reservations are required and they only accept cash."

we have dimmed here several times about the years and never had a bad experience. the owner/server/Koch is not much of a conversation partner, but it is an ass. View menu

This restaurant is a hidden gem and one of the best around. The seafood is fresh and the portion sizes are generous. The homemade hush puppies are particularly delicious. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is great for a nice dinner out. The price per person ranges from $10 to $20. I highly recommend the Large Seafood Platter, Hushpuppies, and Flounder.

Read reviews before going here. Truly feels like the old south. They do offer something uniquely special here. I ate the from scratch food (fried oysters, hush puppies, potatoes, cole slaw). Aside from the need for a deep clean...The unclean bathrooms always make me wonder about the rest. Granted I am a germaphobe and have been Serve Safe Certified in the past, so I know what it means.If you decide to go enjoy!!
