To be honest, the food is overpriced for what it is. Our server was great, but the chili was flavorless, as was the Cole slaw. Reuben was good, but the fries were great!$14 for a quesadilla seems a little ridiculous, to.

We went for the first time today during the lunch hours. The Ol’ Prospector was the best burger I’ve ever had. The pizza was excellent too.Kid-friendliness: They have boothes and booster seats high chairs. Our 2yd was happy and they provided him with crayons and goldfish the moment we walked in.

Pretty standard casual restaurant appearance. You could switch it with any Rusty Bucket or Beer Barrell and I bet you couldn't tell the difference. I like the bartender. He was friendly. But the food was blah. I had the Ol' Prospector burger. Meh. The fries were actually good though. Still, I likely will be skipping McKenzie in the future. There's just nothing special about it. Nice restaurant. Service was good. It reminds me of a cross between O'Charley's and Outback. I would give it 5 stars, but the blackened steak on the salad couldn't be cooked to your choice. Well done, medium rare, etc. I usually always get blackened steak on my salad. However, the meat was SO spicy it burned my mouth! So just beware.Kid-friendliness: Our girls really enjoyed their meal options, crayons and activity menu.

I had the absolute worst Chicken Quesadilla of my life. It was nearly as thin as paper, the chicken was barely there, and it resembled a slimy strip that was completely unappetizing and inedible. I want a refund. On the positive side, the burgers were delicious, and I believe in giving credit where it’s due. I haven’t tried their pizza, so I can’t comment on that, but I definitely recommend staying away from the quesadilla.

The Buffalo Mac n Cheese is absolutely amazing! It has just the right amount of buffalo sauce, and the blue cheese crumbles really take the dish to the next level. We also ordered the Lodgepoles. They might look a bit messy and seem to have an excess of cheese, but it's actually the perfect amount. Unlike most garlic bread, it’s not overly seasoned, making it the best garlic bread I’ve ever had. My kids love them and constantly ask for more. I really enjoy poutine, the Canadian dish made with fries, gravy, and cheese curds. This is the only place I've found that serves it in a way that's truly worthwhile, but you'll need to ask for it specifically. As for my burger, it was absolutely phenomenal—definitely the best burger I’ve had in Columbus so far. It was a truly transcendent experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more. The garlic cheese bread, called lodgepoles, was also really delicious. Overall, this place is absolutely worth the money!

Went here on the last day of 614 Restaurant Week. For $20 each, it was a good meal. Most of us got the bison burger, which was tasty. Appetizers were salad or a soup. Both were good. Nice dessert--I had the cooking in a pan with ice cream while my wife had a decent carrot cake and our firends had the cheesecake. Nothing spectacular but it was good food. We really liked the fries--nicely seasoned. We'd come back. One slight caveat--they did not ask us how we wanted the burgers done (i.e., medium, rare, etc. but they did come out just fine--nice and juicy.

I'm sitting here waiting on our waitress. This place sucks!!! We finally walked out!! 30 minutes, and our server only gave us drinks with no straws. Let me tell you about our experience this Sunday morning after church. After our drinks are served, we watch here clean off the table behind us. Sets a family there. She gets their drinks, comes back, and takes their order. Waits on the other table by us, and we are still waiting to put in our order and get straws!!! You're not busy here! You have 3 tables.... Then we watch you pushing carts to and from the kitchen. Still waiting on you!!! We finally walked out. I told the host about it, and the waitress chimed in and admitted she had done it!!!...
