"We had a bad first experience. We ordered cocktails, cactus juice and a coconut margarita, and they were both terrible. The cactus juice however, was on another level of bad. It was so overly sweet it wasn’t even edible. My husband told our waitress (I don’t remember her name, she had blonde hair and was young), she didn’t take the drink away or offer to comp it. She seemed like she was just trying to avoid the issue. So I emphasized how overly sweet it was and nope, nothing. When our food arrived and our waitress asked us if we needed anything else, at first everyone said no, but I realized there was no ketchup, so I said, “hold on” and when she turned around she had a GLARE on her face. I was stunned. We also ordered the poutine. The hand cut fries are good, but the gravy was bland besides just being salty, and the pulled pork was bland and dry. It was very cheesy and it did come out hot. I ordered my burger medium well and it came out medium rare. Again, the food was just bland. Where is the “tumble weed” seasoning? The bbq sauce was okay but they don’t put enough of it. The onion rings were the only thing that were truly done well. The food, overall, is subpar. The service was poor."

The wait staff was wonderful. Unfortunately, the food wasn't. The steaks and fish were over cooked and dry. Perhaps the cook was just having a rough night.

Waited 45 minutes for the waitress, 90 minutes for food, burger was not cooked correctly, and dining room was so loud you could not keep a conversation. Do not recommend

Overall a Good experience. Food was a surprise, very good and reasonably priced for today's market. Atmosphere was ok.. tables were sticky, kitchen chatter was pretty loud but the service was great and probably the best French Fries I have had in a very long time! View menu

We decided to give Mac's another try, but once again, we left disappointed. The server provided excellent service, but the food did not meet our expectations. Half of our mussels were still closed and we were not even charged for them. My fish was overcooked and my wife's steak was undercooked with no seasoning. We have decided to move on and try a different restaurant.

t’s hot read where the local food and they can feel that vibe in the atmosphere. the bar scene is large, loud and full of the local ladies quantity with their glass wein mixed with the craft beer bundle as they have a decent selection of Maine brews. eating is consistent, comes out in a timely way, and the service is on point also with the job shortage. it is not a frills type of device, but that does not mean that there is something lacking, its good, fresh and comfortable as their favorite meal on their couch in their yoga pants.

Went here a few days ago and felt like I should finally write a review. I've been dining here a few times a year for over 10 years. It has ALWAYS been amazing. I am very particular about steak and their steak is always cooked absolutely perfectly (Love the Mini Mac and the ribeye). The service is always top-notch even when it's very busy (it usually is). Love the dining room and the lounge. Love the beer selection. Love all the appetizers. The bacon mac cheese is my 2nd favorite next to the steak. I seriously hope this place never changes (at least not too much). Keep up the AWESOME WORK guys! Thanks for all the good times! View menu

Our experience at Mac's Grille was disappointing. We were initially told there would be a 20-minute wait, but were seated about 10 minutes later. The server took our order quickly and we received our pretzel appetizer promptly. However, we waited a long time for our entrees (a medium rare steak and a burger) with no explanation. Despite watching other tables who arrived after us being served and finishing their meals, our food never arrived. Our server was scarce and when we asked for an ETA, there was no apology or explanation. After waiting for over an hour and a half, we decided to leave. When we informed another server of our departure, the response was not helpful. We left cash to cover...

Wow, delish! Upon arrival we could tell it was busy, but to our surprise it was only a 15 minute wait. I love that they'll text you when your table is ready. After being seated, our waitress was at the table in seconds and was extremely friendly (I'm sorry, I don't remember her name! She took our order for drinks and checked back a few times for our food order. The menu was big so it took us some time to decide!! We ended up with the Wyatt Eurp sandwich with a side of cheeseburger soup and the Whiskey burger with fries. My burger was PERFECT. Cooked beautifully with the perfect amount of sauce and onion strings and the fries were amazing! My husband said he wasn't expecting the time of bun h...

"I went recently for breakfast. It was not busy at the time of our arrival. The positives of the experience include that the food was good enough. It was very reminiscent of an average diner breakfast. The server also had a pleasant attitude. The negatives of the visit include that despite the friendly atmosphere, service was slow and basic requests were either late to be fulfilled or not at all. I had asked for artificial sweetener for my coffee right after the first cup was poured and our server brought it with my meal, so I had to wait to drink my now warm coffee while waiting for breakfast. I had four toast slices with my breakfast and it took two to use to eat with my eggs, so I requested a jelly for my final two slices. The jelly never came. While overall that would not have made the visit too bad, what really bothered me was the price. My 2 egg meal is advertised as coming with a meat, home fries/hash browns, and toast for 8.50. Our server asked if I'd like onions in my home fries and I said yes. At the end, looking at the bill, I noticed my breakfast was 8.50 and then the home fries added 2 and the onions added .50. I also never received more than a single cup of coffee, which is a first in all my substantial diner experience. Overall, two of us had two basic breakfasts and two coffees and the total price was 35. That is far too expensive for an average diner breakfast. Overall I give it 3 stars generously, but I would not personally return."

"October 10, 2022 Following Google directions, missed it , had to turn around . . . a typical small college town eating spot, where the locals go for good food! It?s not fancy, but a humble Thai restaurant with plastic utensils paper plates that offer a reasonable selection of authentic Thai food at reasonable prices! We took a chance, and stopped for a quick Sunday meal. As you walk into a ?pizza slice?shaped building on the corner of College Bates College down the street) Sabattus, folks order their food at the front counter. The menu offers a few appetizers like spring rolls, chicken on skewers, dumplings, etc. There?s a couple of soup choices. Then rice noodle selections, followed by a good selection of entrees. We met the owner chef Pat V. She worked 12 years in New York , honing her skills. My wife ordered crispy duck, which was excellent! I ordered the spring rolls, which were vegetarian. . . I was hoping for spring rolls . . . veggies with shrimp, chicken, or pork style ? I also ordered the chicken skewers with brown rice. Very good. Plus the little $5 bottles of wine. . . with a plastic cup. Hey it?s fine! The food wasn?t fancy, but good. This is a solid 4.5 establishment geared for those who want a ? take out? meal , but you can eat in also! Prices reasonable, and the counter service is excellent! Thanks Pat for a splendid Thai dinner !"
