"We were seated in the bar. There were only three couples in there. The ambiance was nice and it wasn't too loud. The bar server wouldn't come to our table and we sat for a while until the hostess, who seated us, came to take our order. We got really good drinks and enjoyed them. We ordered the pork belly burnt ends to start. When they arrived, one was burnt and the rest were barely cooked. I ate the first burnt one and it was really good. I went for another bite of a less cooked pork belly piece and it was still cold in the middle of the fat. Obviously, these are pre-cooked and the cook just didn't heat them up to temperature to caramelize the glaze. I thought, well, let's give this place a chance. So, I decided to order their main course of fried chicken and two sides. When it arrived, I was really disappointed. The chicken consisted of 5 pieces of popcorn chicken the size of a small lime and a tray mostly of fries. The chicken was so burnt that when I picked one the pieces up the breading fell off and the chicken was so black it looked like charcoal. I waited for the hostess to come back and let her know that I would not be eating any of that. The only good thing on my plate were the fries. She was polite and ordered any other menu item which I declined as my appetite was gone. They credited the bill the $21.00 and we left. I don't think i will be returning anytime soon."

We thoroughly enjoy dining at Magnolia Tavern. The food and cocktails, infused with a Southern flair, are fantastic. The only downside is trying to decide what to order!

Food was sub par at best. Salad had a half strip of bacon and came with out other toppings listed. The chicken blue burger was grissily and fries were greasy. Drinks were good but small. View menu

We discovered Magnolias by surprise and enjoyed our visit. We ate the fried okra, catfish and chicken dishes, which were delicious. We also enjoyed their Halloween themed libations, which were yummy and inventive.

The staff are extremely friendly! The food was excellent. The jambalaya was hot and full of flavor, the chicken was cooked perfectly and generously portioned, the hamburger was delicious, and the seafood pasta for our birthday celebrant disappeared in no time. The service was great as well. It was a bit noisy since the bar was busy, and the drinks were just average. Overall, we had a wonderful celebration.

I went for the first time and my team of Managers for a work lunch. The place was pretty empty when we got there which always worries me. However, the food was amazing! We shared several appetizers (pork belly, shrimp, and low country veggie dip) and loved them all. The entrees were even better than the appetizers. The big winner was the grits...shrimp and grits/side of grits. They were super creamy and buttery. Over all it was a great meal and the restaurant did start to fill up about 20 minutes after we arrived. View menu

We absolutely loved the atmosphere, as it feels like a unique blend! The bar area has a sports bar vibe but maintains a lower noise level, making it easy to converse with dining companions. The service was excellent, and both the drinks and food were exceptional! I ordered the Lobster Roll and was initially a bit doubtful, but it turned out to be exactly what I had hoped for: fresh, flavorful, and filled with generous chunks of lobster! My husband tried the pulled pork sandwich and really enjoyed it. We can't wait to return and explore more of the menu! I highly recommend this place! Plus, since it was our first visit, our server gifted us a $10 card to use on our next trip!

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, excited to try it since its opening. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the service, portion sizes, and pricing. Given that it’s located in a strip mall and primarily serves families, it would make sense to provide amenities like high chairs and changing tables. My $14 cocktail was extremely watered down, and we waited nearly an hour for our food without being informed that the kitchen was short-staffed until we inquired. Our server seemed uninterested and disengaged. The portion sizes were quite small; what was labeled as a heavy breast was closer to a chicken strip. I did give two stars since the food did taste good when it finally arri...

"I really wanted to give wildfin an excellent review all over the board, but unfortunately could not. we were at some locations at wildfin, as we are seafood lovers, and on 10th september my wife went to wildfin to celebrate our 25-year anniversary. when I made the reservations, I said it was our jubilee. to our surprise, the hostess said nothing when she greeted us, and we sat in the middle of the restaurant when there were several tables on the window overlooking the river. we had to ask our server if it was possible to get a table at the window and she moved us (as it was also her station/area). the server was friendly and our eating was excellent. when my wife I shared a bottle prosecco, had a starter, two meal times, as well as a dessert share. because, as I said, it was our 25-year-old. during our visit we noticed tables near us that celebrated birthday, and we saw that these parties get a free dessert for their occasion. While we did not expect, we both commented that we also need to get a free dessert because it is our 25-year-old. We didn't. only a handwritten note to our reception with happy anniversary, as our server was aware that it was our 25-year-old. may I make a suggestion? in the future it would be a very small/childish gesture for couples with jubilees who are warmly greeted with happy anniversary at the door, as well as a free dessert for the occasion. Many thanks for their thoughts and listening."
