The excitement is truly justified. We had an excellent experience, and the food was outstanding. I ordered the mahi mahi burger, and it was undoubtedly the best meal I've had in South Padre Island in over 20 years of visiting.

If you visit, make sure to try their corn; it's truly amazing! It's the best street corn I've ever tasted. The food is a bit expensive, but the portions are generous. The dining area is entirely outdoors, right by the water, offering a lovely view. View menu

The place was amazing and not stingy AT ALL with the fries, pulled pork fries are listed under appetizers but it’s enough for two people! great views and even better food, will def be back next time we visit. This restaurant is absolutely the best on the island in every aspect! The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is lively, and the owners, Billy and Wanda, are truly wonderful. The owners and staff are really nice. We tried a hot dog, elote, and a burger, and unfortunately, everything was a bit bland. I ordered my hot dog plain, so that’s not what I’m referring to, but my husband’s burger and fries were just average. The elote was disappointing as it was missing sour cream; the mayo made it overly sweet without that tangy balance, and it lacked any spice. Overall, it’s an alright spot, but there are definitely better options nearby for the same price.

I highly recommend dining at this restaurant! My partner and I drove five hours from San Antonio to spend a week in South Padre Island, and we would make that journey just to enjoy the Magic Burger and hot dog again! The burger exceeded all my expectations; it featured the most incredible mahi tuna I've ever tasted, paired with thick-cut crinkle fries that were fried to perfection—absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh and flavorful. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was refreshing, especially being right by the water. I can't recommend this place enough, and we plan to return every time we visit! View menu
