"Great little local spot for sushi and sashimi right near Old Town San Leandro. Dine-in is open currently, with drink and roll specials on a little board outside. We ordered for take-out for our own dinner this time around, but the staff was very friendly during ordering and their very efficient pickup process. Sashimi and Sake Sashimi dinners were nicely portioned and of good quality for both, though the turnip base was a little mealy this time around. Their two rice-less roll options, Makiyaki special (wrapped in cucumber) and Red Sun (wrapped in tuna) were both excellent, good proportions of the component ingredients and delivered beautifully."

Order took way too long, but server was friendly and cute too BTW lol! They're food seems to have went slightly down in quality, but I think overall it's one of the better sushi spots in the area. View menu

Really enjoyed a recent meal here with a friend while visiting from out of town. I enjoyed their vegetarian options quite a bit. Easy spot for parking and dining in. Good service as well. I hope to return when visiting again!

Wife and I always eat in this place. I put an order for picking up and picking up order, lady asked me to give me some Sriracha sauce. She said the Sriracha sauce was extra. It's not a problem if you want to eat there. Definitely my business will lose.

Food is delicious, we went the last 30 before closed, food was really God we get box. Tempura was really fresh, beef teriyaki tender and California roll fresh. Services really friendly, services excellent. Really? I will enjoy a day back with more time View menu

Husband and I always go on dates and we were craving some seaweed salad. The service here was super fast. The ambiance was very cute, Japan like. Not sure if it's true Japanese but it feels more like anime decor. The food was very flavorful and fun to eat. One dish felt like it was a taco sushi wrap. The portions are very large. So just know that there will be left overs.

We have been dining at this restaurant for 20 years ever since we moved to SL. Due to Covid, we have been ordering through Doordash. Unfortunately, this time we were disappointed with the quality of the food. The rice was old and hard, the katsu was tough and there was less than usual, the tuna was mealy, and the Crazy Horse roll was smaller than what we are used to. Even the dipping sauce container for the tempura was only filled to a third. This experience saddens us.
