"We visited for dinner one evening after reading the reviews. We ordered the bucket drink which was delicious! We ended up ordering and sharing 2 of them among our group. One of the folks in our party didn't get their chicken strips or fries until 20minutes after everyone else had their food. Another person at our table didn't have a top bun for his burger and he waited agood 15 minutes for another, when we asked a different server since ours had disappeared. We asked to speak to manager whichnever happened. They ended up giving the fellow without the top bun a 25 percent discount, and nothing for the member of ourparty who had to take her food Togo since we were done with ours by the time hers came. The food was mediocre at best, and wewere incredibly disappointed."

I had the wings. I did garlic parmesan. Our food was good, the service was very good as well! The fry on the shrimp our party ate was perfect, and the burgers and fish were spot on. We felt well taken care of.

We ordered grouper. It was the thinest piece of fish. Frozen fish sticks would have had more taste. The only good thing was the sweet potato fries. Which we ate. Service was good that was the only good thing, but then again we were early!

We waited for over an hour and a half for two burgers and two salads had to find our waitress to see what was going on with our order and then at the end we realized that our burgers had been sitting in the window for over 15 minutes waiting on the salads to be done at the same time. Got the Pepper Jack burger, asked for no mushrooms. Came with mushrooms no biggie. Can take them off. However all of the ingredients on the burger were supposed to be sautéed. As you can see in the picture they were not sautéed whatsoever. Ketchup also was very old and margaritas tasted like straight up fruit punch. If you go here, get classic burger or wings. They're actually great. Seafood they serve isn't local.

I was in the area for training and decided on this place. I ordered the shrimp po boy with tater tots. Wasn?t the best I?ve ever had but I will say It was pretty darn good. The shrimp was crunchy, the sauce was tasty and the bun was perfect. The food cameout in a decent amount of time too. Also the bartender was always on top of filling drinks and asking if anything was needed. IfI ever come back to this area I will sure make the stop here again!

I was highly disappointed in our visit to Mango Marley's. on the plus side...the red beans and rice was great as were the fried plantains. On the negative side....the bacon fried shrimp was over cooked, and the pulled pork was dry. A on the sides, F on the entree. Service was slow and our server never came by after taking our order. they were friendly, but just never seemed to be around. The drinks were good, but wouldn't have minded being able to order a second one! View menu

I wanted to like this place as there is few places to eat in Mexico beach. I bought a shrimp salad for 20.00 to-go) and an ice tea. There was no ice in the ice tea. It's flipping hot out! No problem the girl put ice in it when I asked. Get to the beach open my salad and it was the size of a side salad! I mean just add some more lettuce people. I was fine with the 8 small shrimp whatever) and the funny thing is they gave me 3 sides of dressing for a salad that needed less than one! I may try them again but I wouldn't get a salad for sure!

My husband and I sat at the bar and had a lovely conversation with the bartender, a very nice young lady from Mexico Beach. I ordered an original margarita (no flavors), and she made it perfectly. It was fantastic! We started with shrimp in a lemon garlic sauce, followed by wings coated in a spicy Jamaican sauce, and then enjoyed some freshly fried potato chips with blue cheese. If there had been an option to add sauce to the chips, that would have taken them to another level! It was a great way to pass the time while we waited for our freshly caught fish (thanks to Captain Pete at Bounty Bay Charter) to be cleaned at the Shell Shack.

"We had an excellent experience at the restaurant, with fantastic service and no wait for our early dinner, despite having a party of nine on a Saturday. The buy-one-get-one-free offer on Sangria was a highlight; we opted for the white over the red, and it was very refreshing. Every dish we tried was delicious. However, the prices felt a bit steep for the portion sizes, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars."

"My adult son and I went to Port St. Joe because we heard Joe Mama's was really good. First off, let me say the food is amazing. I will start with the praise. My son got the brisket sandwich and I got the fig pizza. Both were terrific. Everything else about the establishment was abysmal. Wait staff did not care about patrons. Very cramped dining area. We were seated next to the bar and if you raised your arm beside you, you could hit someone waking by it was so narrow. We asked about Wifi and they said it wasn't public as it was attached to the payment system. What? You are out in the middle of nowhere with terrible service and you don't even offer free wifi to the patrons? The whole place gives sundown town vibes and we will never, ever go back to PSJ"

"The atmosphere was wonderful, but unfortunately, a state event in town meant the restaurant was incredibly busy. We had to wait quite a while for our food, which was understandable given the large number of people. There were several mistakes with our orders, and unfortunately, we couldn't get them corrected; some items we ordered never made it to our table. If you need anything, it's best to ask for everything at once because you might not see the waitstaff again. However, the food itself was good and enjoyable. I would consider returning if I'm in the area again."

"Great passionate owner/cook. Fantastic food. We are going again for breakfast tomorrow. Edit: we went for breakfast again yesterday and then again today. 10/10 fully reccomended. One more Edit: a response to the owner: Thank you for your kind response, we really did enjoy it and if we are ever in Port St. Joe again we will *in bold letters* WILL be back. I told Alex y'all needed a second location at home where we are from, you'd put our local shrimp and grits to shame. Furthermore, I love the amount of care and passion that went into each entree, you could definitely see and taste that passion in your food. Edit: We were just in this weekend and again, great stuff! Scotty, we will be back toward the end of summer and be sure to greet you in person. I didn't see the response or I would have this time! I know you are busy so I try not to bother. "Don?t look at the menu online before going or you will end up more disappointed than I was. I ordered the shrimp and grits, it was decent but not worth the money that it was. The pic I?ve included is of my husbands peel and eat shrimp that have less seasoning than when I buy them fresh at the grocery store. There was black pepper on a few of them. Just a few, so don?t get too excited over it. Drinks were ok, that was the best part. Except for the fact that we got passed over four or five times at the bar before we were acknowledged and at that point our table was ready. Speaking of which, we were never asked if we preferred inside or out, and when I asked for outside when we got to the hostess stand I was told it would be a longer wait than we had already waited. Service was ok, and by ok I mean ok. I?ve had better at a fast food place. Our waitress was at our table 3 times ordering, bringing our food and taking the check. My husband had to walk to the counter to ask for cocktail sauce. On that note, we paid for a meal that 100% was not worth the money we spent and are currently at another restaurant waiting for food because I?m still hungry. Oh the woman next to us has cold fries when they came out."
