"The best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. If you want authentic Mexican food made with love, this is your place. The outdoor patio is super cozy at night with the soft overhead lighting and sounds of The Mission Bells in the background with views of The Mission San Juan Capistrano. My favorite place to relax and enjoy some quality food. The owners are extremely polite and super friendly and can cook like no other. Plenty of vegetarian options as well if you desire. I highly recommend The Huevos Rancheros I discovered taste buds I didn’t know I had. Also, Breakfast is served 24/7 which is awesome since I prefer breakfast for dinner sometimes. Try it out and experience one of San Juan Capistrano’s local gems"

Had the shrimp enchiladas. Shrimp needed a bit more flavor and not to be cooked so long. Otherwise the sauce was excellent and service was great.

Always a great meal here. Great menu. I didn't repeat a meal in three years and we're here 6-8 times a year. Chicken Verde is great. Great spices!

I highly recommend this restaurant for delicious and authentic Mexican food in South Orange County. The Al Pastor and Steak Tacos are great, the salsa is excellent, and the Aquas Frescas are refreshing. I can't wait to try more items from the menu. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.

The recipes are truly unique and everything is handmade. The salsa is also unique as it uses the dried Japanese chiles from Mexico. The Chili Colorado is exceptional and partly because, I think, they add pumpkin seeds. Also the mol sauce is very complex and at a time it was told to come from Mexico. Try this restaurant! This is our new favorite restaurant and maybe one of the best Mexican meals I had. It is busy at dinner hour, but a bit before or after seem to sit fast. Great view of the basilica on the street. Open the terrace and the small seating area. Perfect size restaurant! The table service is a little slow, but they know what they do and just have to deal with the undercut. And as mentioned, food is phenomenal. literally everything on the menu is fantastic!

Getting two tacos for the price of one is an incredible deal at this restaurant. The quality of the meat is top-notch and the flavor is delicious. Their strawberry water is a must-try, it's fantastic! The staff at the counter are very welcoming and make you feel like part of the family. I'm thrilled that I stumbled upon this place on Google and decided to give it a try. It was money well spent on some of the best food I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back every Tuesday for my two-for-one taco fix!

"Husband and I were looking for an Italian place for dinner we didn't want to go to our usual. I came across Ciao Pasta on Yelp and thought we would give it a try. It's in San Juan Capistrano which is always nice to walk before or after dinner. I called and made reservations for 5:15pm , we arrived about 20 minutes early but thank god we did as we couldn't find the place. It's not hard to find it we just thought it was on the opposite side of town. We managed to make it right on time and we were seated right away. It was such a nice afternoon that we decided to sit outside. It's a beautiful restaurant with plenty of seating inside and outside. We started off with ordering drinks and an appetizer. We ordered the carpaccio to start with. They also brought us some delicious and soft focaccia bread with some olive oil and crushed olives( I believe) . When I saw the carpaccio it just looked so beautiful and delicious and it was also delicious and so fresh tasting. The focaccia bread was also very good I decided to top my bread with some of the carpaccio, it was amazing. For dinner my husband ordered the beef Bolognese and I ordered the crudo pizza. The pizza had some prosciutto and Parmesan cheese and topped with some arugula. The pizza is a great size to share . The crust on the pizza was absolutely amazing. My husband absolutely loved the pizza crust he said it took him back to his childhood. It tasted like freshly made flour tortillas with butter on it. It was so good!!! He also enjoyed his pasta dish. And of course we had to get some dessert and we went with the ricotta cheesecake with raspberry sauce , it was delicious and not to sweet. This restaurant also has great service. The waiters and servers were on top of it. We will definitely be back to try some more of their dishes. Thank you for such a great dinner!"
