"The food was somewhat disappointing overall. We ordered a molcajete, but the cheese was spoiled. When I informed the waitress, she inquired with the kitchen, and they claimed it was from a new pack they had just opened. She didn’t apologize or offer to replace our meal, so we ended up just removing the cheese ourselves. We also tried the green enchiladas, but the chicken was tough and unlike the typical shredded chicken. The salsa wasn’t green, but it did taste decent. On a positive note, the shrimp empanadas and ostiones were good, and the drinks were quite enjoyable. While the experience wasn’t entirely terrible, I do wish it had been better. The waitstaff only came to our table twice, and I had to call another waitress to process our payment."

The food was decent, but the portion sizes could be larger given the prices.

Phone service sucks they never answer... Server talking to each other instead of paying attention to the consumer and the phone for orders View menu

This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food! I rated it a 4 out of 5, however, because the servers have a rather unpleasant attitude and seem annoyed to be working there.

Review your bill. This establishment charged a $4 fee for non cash payment when we actually paid with cash. Without a written statement or our consent, we were charged an 18% tip for a table of 4 guests! I will not return.

The portions were small, and the prices were high. Be sure to check your receipt, as I was charged a non-cash service fee despite cash being the only payment option available at that time. Additionally, a gratuity was automatically added for our party of four, which seemed to result in our waitress neglecting us. We were the only table there at noon on a Wednesday. View menu

Food was good service was good went with my kids it was all perfect till the girl that served us thought it was OK to slap a 40 dollar tip for herself on my bill I got it removed I told her it isn't right that I was going to give her a 15 dollar tip for great service but 40 bucks on a bill that was only 150 that's a little insane she got pissed cause the Manger made her remove it I still gave her 15 but told her I will never be back cause she threatened me and said to me this is the one and only one time thing and it won't happen again I told her no worries I won't be back to customers beaware.

I have been coming to this restaurant for a little over 5 years but the prices on some things are very exaggerated, a roast beef taco $6 a lemonade $6 and I also come with my children, 6 and 11 years old, and lately some things have been giving me including the tip. 18% and I asked a shopkeeper why sometimes they include the tip and sometimes they don't and she told me we only include the tip when there are 4 adults for the children, no, and besides the shopkeeper who served me, she was in a very bad mood, it's fine. include the tip but that they take good care of you. I usually leave a tip of $10 to $20, it all depends on the attention they give you.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
