"Delicious Soups! One of the standout features of this deli is that they display the soup of the day on a wall outside for the entire week. Recently, my wife and I enjoyed a soup and sandwich combo, trying the Tomato, Okra, and Sausage soup, which paired perfectly with the chicken salad sandwich. It was an excellent choice to warm us up on a chilly, windy afternoon. Today we had a bowl of Chicken and Dumplings, and it was outstanding. The flavors of the freshly shredded chicken blended beautifully with the creamy texture of the soup. I highly recommend this place for both taste and value."

Awesome deli for all your sandwich and sub needs. The smell of freshly baked bread hits you as soon as the door swings open. Also don't miss out on their homemade cookies.

I have never been here but I love there chicken salad that I get from the Prisma Health Gift shop. Stop by their restaurant or if you are at the hospital go by the gift shop and grab a container. View menu

Love love love this place! The best lunch place in Sumter!! The Roast beef is the best, try the pasta salad.... The service is great with the workers remembering my order! Tells you how much I am there!

This deli is fantastic! The Turkey dipper, which features turkey on pumpernickel bread served with a dipping sauce, was delicious. However, the standout dish for me was the potato salad with bacon—it was exceptional! I'll definitely be returning soon.

Let's do lunch. I work at the USC Sumter campus and on some fridays I swing over to Mary Ann's deli for lunch. It's a local business located in the university shopping center offering a viriety of deli style subs and sandwiches, soup of the day, kids menu, and a senior citizen menu. View menu

MaryAnn's is an excellent option for lunch. Everything is made fresh each day, so it’s best to arrive early to avoid missing out on your favorites. My personal favorite is the Roast Beef Au Jus sandwich, paired with her delicious potato salad. The soups are fantastic, with too many favorites to mention, so be sure to try them all!

I absolutely love Mary Ann's Deli; it's my favorite lunch spot! They offer a wide variety of sandwiches, and there's always a soup of the day to enjoy. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. I've been going there for years and have never had a negative experience. The chicken salad is the best I've ever tasted, but my all-time favorite sandwich is the turkey dip. I also really enjoy their pasta salad, which has a unique flavor and is my go-to side dish.

"Had received multiple raving reviews to go for the brunch after church. My wife loved the place. Thought the vibe was lovely and we can easily agree it is the nicest brunch spot in Sumter. Definitely geared towards a female consumer decorative touch and ambiance. Personally I felt as though the brunch menu was extremely limited if you’re looking for breakfast like food. Seeing the metro style dishes on the menu had me craving something satisfying but was left wanting more. I recommend finding a local farm along with adding something from them to your menu that will surely satisfy a man as I won’t be coming back for the food but my wife will be coming back with friends from out of town. I’ll definitely come back if you add a breakfast burrito, though. Maybe a large breakfast burrito you eat with a fork and knife put on a white plate. Put (Neverdun Farms or other locally raised cattle) ribeye and tenderloin, scrambled eggs, mixed cheese, bacon ranchero, and on top of the flour tortilla nicely sliced avocado drizzled with crema and cilantro with a side of salsa as I noticed a few other Hispanic dishes. Or, AVOCADO TOAST! Grilled sourdough, guacamole, soft scrambled eggs, parmesan sauce, avocado, parmesan and radish. These would be best sellers. Regardless, I was going to give five stars but my napkin had smudges of food on it, my table mat had multiple (large) crumbs and the glass had two chips. It’s just the little things that make it go from a fine breakfast spot to a mediocre feel right as you sit down. Regardless, service was great. Thank you!"

"I go to Baker's Sweets a lot.But today's experience was awful. July 5th 2024, lunch. Never ever have I been so disappointed with how our party of seven were served Where the food came out horrible. My grandchildren 3yrs and 5 yrs were served spicey fries. My fried green tomato BLT had 3 nice size green tomatoes but 1 piece of bacon and 1/2 slice of lettuce. My son was served cold hard shrimp and grits plate that he had to cutt with a knife to eat the grits. My daughter in law was waiting for her fried chicken salad plate and didn't get it until the waitress came with check and realized she forgot it then came back and said they didn't even drop the chicken in yet. My daughter got a chicken sandwich with lettuce tomato and Swiss. It came out plain. My son inlaw ordered his burger/patty melt med rare it came out Xtra well. Among other things. I stood at the front counter ordered my coffee as I arrived, waited as she made it and placed it on the back counter where it sat for 5 min. I had to tell them at the register that it was sitting there. Many other customers were complaining too while we were waiting for our food but I thought nothing of it until I found out when we were served. We should have walked out but no. We got the check after complaining and were only compted the 18 gratuity they charge for larger parties. What# ! Larger party? 5 adults and 2 small kids. Our bills were still full price. Excuse, the normal cooks were off and everyone else partied the night before. Sorry Baker's Sweets. You have lost 7 customers today from us and I'm sure others. If you don't have the proper kitchen staff you should not have been open!"
