"Nice hole in the wall, off the beaten path. The staff here are very friendly. The interior decor definitely gives the place a quaint theme. The food and prices were great. The chicken fried steak was well seasoned and breaded. My only complaint was that it was salty (without the gravy . And despite being slathered in gravy, the steak kept it'd crunchy texture. The salad bar was a nice touch. Nothing elaborate; just a simple salad bar with a few options each for dressing, vegetables, and various toppings. The fried catfish was also good too. Like the chicken fried steak, the breading was also well-seasoned (using corn meal . The only downside was that I (and most in our party did not receive our hushpuppies (they looked great! . It's a nice restaurant worth checking out if you get the chance. Would come back again."
