"Starting with the Fattoush, I was pleasantly surprised to find the fried pita chips on top when I transferred the salad from the styrofoam container to my plate. They had been thoughtfully placed at the bottom, which was a nice touch! It was delicious, albeit a unique take on Fattoush. The salad had sliced onions that seemed to be seasoned like those in a Greek salad, likely influenced by the red wine vinaigrette Greek dressing. Traditional flavors such as mint or lemon were noticeably absent. While it was tasty, I wouldn’t necessarily call it Fattoush. However, I'm no expert, so you can decide that for yourself! I learned how to make Greek dressing from Greeks, though! As for the sandwich, even after confirming that everything is made in-house, I was disappointed when they couldn’t substitute the chicken for beef in the shawarma sandwich. I found that quite puzzling. The staff mentioned that the sandwich came with garlic sauce and tahini, but it was a little on the dry side. Thankfully, there was extra Greek dressing on my plate that I could use to moisten it. The pickles were present but not very prominent. I don’t have a lot of sandwich comparisons to draw from, but I was hoping for the refreshing contrast of garlic sauce with a tangy pickle alongside the spiced meat—something that was a bit lacking. On a positive note, the energy in the restaurant was great. The staff seemed genuinely invested in their work, with no one standing around staring at their phones, which was refreshing. I appreciate that level of dedication. In summary, I will definitely return, but perhaps not for what I ordered this time. I might explore other options instead."
