"Wonderful… well, everything! I got me the grilled Mahi Mahi, which came with two sides (I chose green beans and fries) and a side salad! The salad left much to be desired, like fresh lettuce and larger leaves that didn’t have holes in them as if they were rotting away. Seriously, it looked like they just took a box of spring mix from Publix and dumped it in a bowl with two cherry tomatoes, no cheese, and these microscopic carrot shreds. But when the fish came out, everything seemed like I had died and gone to heaven (maybe or maybe not because of the salad). The grilled Mahi x2 was expertly served and grilled, topped with a healthy orange twist. Seasoning was like that of a steakhouse; stupendous! The green beans were thick, very green, juicy, and very healthy! And the fries were so good that if a fast food restaurant was serving them, they’d top the charts in profit! One more thing, the way the food was formatted on my plate was incredibly handled; positioned in such a way that the different foods didn’t intermingle, yet, gave each other structural support. 10000000/10!!!"

The food was excellent! However, our server was unable to tell me how many shrimp were included in the shrimp basket—not even a rough estimate. I ended up counting mine and informed her that there were 12 shrimp in the basket.

I spent some time in Panama City and visited Mike's Cafe and Oyster Bar. It’s exactly what you would hope for from a beachside oyster house. The shrimp po' boy was delicious, and the fries that accompanied it were equally good. The grilled shrimp was satisfying, and the fried oysters were just as impressive. Overall, it was a fantastic way to kick off the week at the beach.
