"I had a disappointing experience at Mike's for North Shore roast beef. The beef was nearly raw, cold, and had a lot of gristle. I struggled to chew through it and ended up pulling three pieces of gristle out of my mouth. The bun was neither grilled nor toasted, and the fries were overcooked. The only decent part of the meal was the onion rings. The seating consisted of just a counter and stools, which seems like a way to avoid providing public restrooms. I would recommend driving 40 minutes north to Nick's Famous Roast Beef in Beverly instead—it's one of the best on the entire North Shore. After trying both places, you'll definitely choose Nick's over Mike's. I know I won't be returning!"

389-BEEF... what more can I say? I've dined here on every visit home since I moved away in 2008.

Very good roast beef sandwich and great onion rings. Not a comfortable place to eat so plan on take out. View menu

Mike's is fantastic! It has been consistently great for many years. I'm 52 years old and I'm heading there now, but I've been a loyal customer since my younger days of going out to bars and clubs.

Use to be one of my favorite places. Last few times I went customer service was horrible! Will not be returning. I refuse to out my money into a buisness who doesn't respect or appreciate thier customers!

The food here has really declined compared to what I remember from years ago. I ordered the roast beef with horseradish and crushed red pepper, and unfortunately, I ended up with an upset stomach for nearly a week. I won't be coming back! View menu

This is the best late night spot for pregancy or drunken nighty out with girls. It hits the spot every time Parking: Nice amount of spots all around Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs from street right into the door and a lower counter top on left side for those in chair.

The fried fish is amazing! Cooks so fast you can tell they use fresh, not frozen. Simple battering, beautifully crispy and not sweet or gummy. I mean really perfect! I'm not a fan of the Cole slaw, but I'm happy to overlook it because the fish is so darned good. Highly recommend!

"I’ve ordered pizza here about 3 times. That’s 3 times too many. After the first time, I thought I’d give them another chance. About a year or so later, I thought to myself, okay, one last chance. But they’ve never lived up to even the least of my expectations. The pizza is okay, but not worth the prices they charge; I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars, but the service….. if negative stars were available, I’d give it 5. And whoever the older, heavier, bald, gray bearded man is, well, I suggest he just retire or find a different day job that isn’t associated with customers. First, they don’t greet customers when one walks in the door. Not even a smile. Next, when they rang up my take out order and I placed my credit card into the machine, he pressed the button for the next screen and TOLD me, “Add a tip.” Most places let you know that IF YOU WISH to add a tip, that’s the place to do it. And then when his machine stalled, he exasperatedly rolled his eyes, huffed and then told me he was going to have to start all over, as if it were my fault his machine was acting up. And once again TOLD me to add a tip. I thanked him for the pizza… and he didn’t even acknowledge it. He didn’t thank me for my business, for coming in, for not cr*pping the floor. Nothing. In hindsight, this is the tip I would’ve given him (with a smile, of course): Do the world a favor Pull your lower lip over your head and swallow. And have a nice day! To pizza lovers in Everett: Save yourself the disappointment. Brooklyn Bros Pizza is much, much better! Major League Pizza doesn’t deserve anyone’s hard earned money."
