"After visiting dozens of times and always having a great experience, they hired someone incompetent. If you order an appetizer and later order your main course, you should receive the appetizer first. After about ten minutes, I asked to cancel the appetizer order. The main items were served.. Then the appetizer was served. This employee was new, but after six months of visiting often she had not improved at all. I stopped going for a few years, and came back. There was a new employee. The same set of things happened. Doing a decent job for the customer isn't something of importance. It's not worth one's time if Mio Sushi wants to hire people who aren't competent with English and don't care about simple customer requests, not to mention not requiring them to improve."

Nice little sushi place. The food was hot but the taste was average. The service was good.

Found hair in my food. Deep fried rolls weren’t warm/crispy, seemed like food sat out for a while before it was served to us.

I tried Veggie Tofu and Ramen. Both of the dishes were very good truly how you would imagine Japanese food to be. I am pretty sure other items in the menu are equally great. Highly recommended.

I wish I could leave no stars. We phone our order and they said it would be ready in 30 minutes. We arrived early and checked in with the host and they said it wasn’t ready. We checked in again and again and after an hour of waiting and checking in, the host/server went to check if it was ready, come to find out our order had been ready and sitting for well over 30 minutes. Over $50 wasted. So disappointed. View menu

The fried rolls were just as unappetizing as the cold ones. Each roll seemed inconsistent, resembling a bland beige blob with a faint hint of sushi flavor. Even the rice was completely lacking in taste. I usually enjoy sushi, but this was the worst I've ever had. It was truly off-putting. Did the chef even try? I've never encountered such a lack of flavor before. I recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

The fried rolls were served just as offputtingly tepid as the rolls that were supposed to be cold. Each roll was indistinguishable from the next. Sort of a beige blob of vague sushi flavor. Even the rice tasted entirely unseasoned. I am veryeasy to please with sushi, but this was absolutely the worst I 've had. Honestly disgusting. Did the chef have covid orsomething? I 've never encountered such lack of flavor. Avoid at all costs.

Love the food but the customer service is atrocious. After ordering online and waiting in line for my food for 20 minutes past my pickup time, I asked the woman working how much longer it would be. She rudely dismissed me saying they were making it and proceeded to talk to the next person in line. After over an hour I went to ask about the food ETA again and was then told they were not going to make my food and I had to cancel my order. I am so sad because I really loved this place but will unfortunately never be dining there again. View menu

Sushi was fresh and good, just had to deal with arguing to get my order. Only one to-go order in the shop, and it was eveything I had ordered. Yet I was told it wasn't mine, my wife who made the order called and they then argued with her as well. Then said o maybe it is your order and told my wife they would bring it out to me. She messaged me that, and after 5 more minutes I went back inside and hade to waite a few more minutes for help even though the shop was half empty. They rang me up and never apologized or even acknowledged the issue. Like I said the food was good hence the 3 stars but the service is trash.

I ended up at this place because my original plan to go next door fell through (computers system was down they couldn't seat anyone). Yes, this place took my group of 9 but the service was HORRIBLE which is such a shame because the food was good. They were more concerned with their takeout orders. We sat down at 6pm and had a show to catch at 7:30. Our orders didn't come out at the same time. Then they forgot about the last 2 orders which finally came out at around 7:15 pm. Yeah, thanks I'll just scarf down my meal now. They did try to make up for it by giving the 2 people who didn't get their orders a salad and edamame. But wouldn't it have been better if they had just gotten what they orde...

"Family owned great food, great prices My husband found this place and he was craving Puerto Rican food. We used to eat at this place in Santa Rosa, so he searched and found a recommended restaurant in Beaverton, Boriken! Happy we stopped by to check this place out. They are family owned and celebrating their 10th anniversary woo! I like the interior. It's bright and decorated with a tropical island feel reflecting the culture. The walls have photos of the family and history. I like places like this. Their menu is easy to navigate and not overwhelming for a first time diner. I ordered a plate with yellow rice and chicken, beans, and plantains. I was indecisive with sweet or fried plantains, so the waiter suggested I do both. My 6yr old ordered a small side of sweet plantains and a small side of cornmeal sticks. My husband had the small mofongo. I loved what I had. It was very filling too! Sweet plantains are SO good and the fried plantains are delicious as well. I loved that they weren't oily and had a good crisp to it. My daughter ended up wanting my fried plantain even though she really enjoyed the sweet version too. She likes this place. My husband devoured the mofongo. I may get that next time too. We tried their vinegar sauce on the table and it tastes pretty good, not spicy! Service is great. We enjoyed our food and plan to come back again. Parking is right out front designated for customers. Bathroom is for customers only. because they're celebrating their 10th anniversary, some of their dishes (like mine) are $2 off."
