"I was torn about how I wanted to rate my experiences here (2 stars vs 3 stars . While the food is genuinely good, and I believe decently priced, the service is what brings the review down. There is very obviously a crowd of people, with whom the wait staff refer to as regulars , who get specialized treatment (i.e. Getting to seat themselves where they want as opposed to everyone else having to wait to be seated, being served first regardless of what order tables were sat, etc. I understand wanting to show gratitude to your loyal customers, but you certainly can 't expect to gain any new regulars when you 're making the other patrons feel less important. I have been here a handful of times and it 's the same experience every trip with feeling second rate compared to the regulars . This past time we waited at our table for a good 15 minutes before someone even came over to offer us water and/or coffee, meanwhile those who got to come in and just seat themselves were being catered to immediately. Like I said, the food is genuinely good but the blatant favoritism leaves a bad taste in my mouth."

What a great find! We were in the area looking for a lunch spot and saw this restaurant nearby. Great reviews on Google Maps so we gave it a try. Food was excellent! We had one brunch and one lunch meal and both were tasty. We will definitely be back when we are in the area!Food: 5/5

Was served brown avocado and when I asked the employee to show the chef I was chastised loudly by the head waitress I did not ask for a discount or to send my meal back. Just wanted them to know what they sent out of the kitchen. Do not recommend food is not good enough to be yelled at

My FAV for breakfast and lunch. There's an enjoyable sense of community with great service and a friendly smile. The food is delicious as well as consistent a difficult task for any restaurant. Clean and well maintained. Oh, the regular and decaf coffee is excellent. Maybe someday they will extend their hours to include dinner too. View menu

I wish I can give more than 5 stars. The quality of food and kindness of the staff goes way beyond 5 stars. Nicki and her Mom, Mary, are kind, welcoming, and extremely patient. The restaurant staff is exceptional, they take their time with each table, they personally get to know each guest. And of course the food is always delicious!!

2nd time coming here and MY GOD! Food is Amazing. First time here had the Cinnamon Swirl pancakes w/chicken sausage. Today I had the classic French Toast w/chicken sausage. Again amazing ??Will be back very soon! Not too long of a wait to be seated. A little longer wait at the table but the overall experience here is amazing in this family owned restaurant!

My friend and I enjoyed a lovely brunch at Mitzi. Wonderful selection and included items not usually found. I enjoyed Mitzi's mac and cheese and my friend had the asparagus with hollandaise sauce. Both were good portions and yummy. The beignets were alittle heavier than I had before but still quite delicious. Our server was very good. Everyone friendly. Definitely needs another visit and I would not hesitate to recommend! View menu

This is a family owned and operated business. The menu is quite extensive with reasonable prices. Located in a strip mall, parking is available but may be limited during peak hours. On my recent visit I had the eggs Benedict with asparagus. It was excellent. My companion suggested I take home a container of the cream of spinach soup. It was superb and sealed the deal that I will be back for another meal. The picture is the mother and daughter that own and operate this wonderful establishment.

"The first time I went here during Restaurant Week on a date with my significant other, I thought the atmosphere was great, the food wasn’t too bad, and the drinks were made very well. In fact, we liked this restaurant so much that we suggested having a company party here so others could try it, as well. Needless to say, that was a horrible idea. As we learned, this restaurant doesn’t know how to accomodate large parties. Our party included about 11 adults and we had made reservations at least two weeks in advance, maybe more. We willingly changed our reservation time to a later time to better accomodate the restaurant and they still did an awful job at accomodating us. They have a party room, but we were not offered to sit in there despite the fact that it was empty when we got there- and still empty when we left. When we got there, our table wasn’t ready and what they finally arranged for us was cramped and uncomfortable. It would have been nice to be able to talk with the rest of the people sitting at the table; however, it wasn’t really possible given the seating arrangements. As far as the food was concerned, the tuna tartare appetizer was the standout of the evening, and everything else was sort of mediocre. I ordered salmon and it came with potato and vegetable sides, all of which were cold or lukewarm when I got my plate. From what I heard from a few people around me, everyone else enjoyed what they got, but it wasn’t memorable food by any means- standard fare like crab cakes and steak. Boring. For dessert, quite a few people at the table ordered the chocolate pot du creme- which turned out to be a generous portion of thick, heavy CHOCOLATE GANACHE that was way too much to eat for a dessert portion. It might have been good if it was a smaller portion, or used to top a cake, but they served it in what looked like a small soup bowl. Ugh. During the course of our stay, everyone had at least 2-4 cocktails, an appetizer, main course, and dessert. You can do the math to roughtly figure out what the bill would be for 11 people before tax and tip. Keeping that in mind, not 10 minutes after we had finished our desserts, the manager came over and we were conspicuosly ASKED TO LEAVE because a party of 12 had just arrived. REALLY?! I looked around as we were walking out and noticed that more than half of the tables on the one side of the restaurant were EMPTY. The arriving party could have easily been seated in that area, and our party would have probably ordered at least a few more drinks per person!! The way I see it, they lost out on maybe an extra $100 or more for the bar – and future business – because of how we were innappropriately rushed out the door. The restaurant is OK for couples, but I wouldn’t consider going back with a group- if at all. I frankly haven’t been back there since this experience. It is a damn shame that we reccomended going there because I know it would have been a much better experience at the place we usually go to. The GM wouldn’t dare to kick paying customers out, especially a party of people, 10 minutes after they finished their dessert because they know how to plan reservations accordingly."
